X-Men - Part 1

I got sick of Rogue/Magneto/Gambit a looooooooong time ago. (1994 to be exact)

I'd say everything revolves around Uncanny (as usual). Uncanny X-Force is clearly the best X-Title in terms of storytelling and playing a critical role for setting up "Schism". X-Men is just kind of "there" and Legacy is off in it's own little world it seems.....

hmmmm. interesting.

i might try x-force or uncanny out. or just jump on for schism waiting to see scott tear logan a new ********

Just roll with Uncanny X-Force. New Mutants is worth reading too, especially with Abnett and Lanning now writing it.

Legacy probably isn't worth you investing in it, despite it being well-written most of the time. Generation Hope is pretty inconsequential, but at least it's starting to come out of the hole. Uncanny X-Men has become a big stinker. And X-Men, no idea, but it's got a new direction and, I believe, writer, following the story from last week's Giant Size.

Am I the only one still reading X-Factor, or does that no longer count as an X-book because the team has nothing to do with the X-Men anymore?

Judging by the sales number, I would say yes. Honestly though, I havent read it since MC. Actually I read the 2 issues around when Rahne rejoined and then dropped it again. Did she ever have her baby? Did Rictor ever find out the truth?

Oh, wait. I forgot about X-Factor. I knew I was missing one and I couldn't get the title in my head. Sorry, Manic!

X-Factor is worth reading, but only if you've always read it. Peter David writes a good story, but I don't think I could name a spot where there's a good jumping-on point.

X-Factor is still the best X-Book (and only X-Book) I read. :o

F**k you people who don't read it, and I hope you get Rickets.

A little world where Rogue sleeps with geriatric men. God I really can't get over how they actually had Rogue choose Magneto in this latest issue.
Its about time. She's wanted this for years and finally there's no obstacles and nothing keeping them from being together.

Rictor found out like 5 minutes after Rahne moved back in, but she hasn't had her baby yet.

I know it'd make me a major hypocrit because of all the crap I've given Spider-Man, but so would I as long as the end result keeps the X-Men in San Francisco and Rogue can still touch people.
Yeah that's kind of how I feel. :csad:

Rogue needs to be a saucy southern belle again. I don't really care about which specific powers she has, but she sure seemed a hell of a lot more fun when she had Ms. Marvel's. Now she's all angsty and serious.
Agreed. I miss the fun, sassy Rogue.

Are you kidding me? She got pregnant like 2-3 years ago and her pregnancy was supposed to be an accelerated one. Im surprised she hasnt popped that thing out yet

Well, to be fair, 2-3 years can be anywhere from five or six weeks to five or six months comic time.

I know but she had an accelerated pregnancy due to the father. She was physically several months pregnant within the span of a few weeks in X-force. She should have given birth alot faster than normal

Peter David probably doesn't know or doesn't care. Though in his defense, Rahne should've probably given birth in X-Force instead of getting shoved to the side after the first page of the first issue.

It's only been a few days comic time since she showed up. They were in the middle of some s**t with the FF, then they had a dust up with Hela, and now they're protecting Mayor JJJ from some feminist assassins. That's been like their last 4 or 5 days. So, once again, 2-3 years, isn't 2-3 years comic time.

If anything, I'll try out x-force and take a look at new mutants. thanks for the heads up.

Uncanny X-Men Ends In October

Screw Marvel. They're just a big joke I swear.

I bet you they launch the new #1 in September to leach off of DC's initiative and I hope that it fails miserably and that DC absolutely dominates that month. I love X-Men but I swear I can't stand Marvel.

***holes. I always knew in the back of my mind this day would come eventually. Marvel has nothing but eyes full of dollar signs. I bought the relaunches when they said they wanted to get away from a certain era (like the Spider-Man line after the Clone Saga) but I'm not buying it now. I like the nostalgia behind long running titles and now they are all gone.....

Aw, I thought it would be because Gillen was pounding the nails into Uncanny's coffin.

I mean honestly, I can't remember Uncanny ever really being the good X-men title for as long as I've read the comics (20yrs), so it doesnt upset me thaaaat much...

but going for the new #1 is probably what they're doing, and its ********
