Well, it's being written by Mike Carey. He's not going to write an X-Men comic starring Not-Rogue. As annoyed as I get by his Rogue Love, I have to admit he still writes a decent X-Men comic and he has more restraint with his favorite characters than, say, Chris Claremont.

He's determined to drag this Rogue-Magneto-Gambit love triangle out. Despite it being forced as hell.

She first started as a villian of the original X-factor way back as a team member of the Alliance of Evil. She's most notably been a longtime Acolyte and temporary X-men during Jean Grey's interim EoD team. When she first started appearing in Legacy a few months ago, I wondered if she was going to be used to feed to Rogue, considering she has super strength and durability, thus giving Rogue part of her old powerset

Rogue and Magneto have been dancing around each other for the past 20 years. It started off in the Savage Land and gets broguht up every few years with various writers teasing it. No one has done as much with it as Carey has in recent history though. I dont mind the age difference. She's way past the age of legal consent and he's physically well preserved. I think the two can work but I dont see them being an actual couple.

Quick comment...love Polaris' hair, my eye was immediately drawn to it. Nice to see it's a green as ever.

The whole Rogue and Magneto thing is odd, ever-so-slightly understandable and extremely humorous XD

IMO it would have made more sense for Storm to go against Cyclops but since she has been relegated to BP' woman she's no longer relevant to the X-verse
