Shaw is a great villian. I was hoping First Class would help bring him back to prominence
 
Yeah I'm not crazy about Shaw becoming a hero even though I'm pretty settled on Emma after all this time. Right now we know absolutely nothing as to the direction each team is going to take. For all we know Scott and Logan are trading place on the avengers or on X-Force. Who knows....
 
Shaw has worked with the X-Men before when they have common goals/ememies but I don't want him to join.

Plenty of X-Characters filling up back pannels why waste time filling teams with villains.
 
What upsets me about Shaw is that ever since that Annual featuring Emma, Shaw, and Namor, everything about Shaw has been about waiting for Emma's plans with him to completely backfire. She faked his death and imprisoned him, and I spent a good 2 years waiting for that to backfire. Then she erased his memory and unleashed him in the middle of nowhere, so now I'm just waiting for him to regain his memories and let slip the dogs of war. Even with him joining the X-Men, I bet he's doing it under a new personality brought on by his amnesia.

Together they all create a massive poster. The speculation is that X-Factor's is between Legacy and Wolverine & The X-Men. That leaves 2 books and there are 3 currently on Marvel's slate. So out of X-Men, Uncanny X-Force and New Mutants....something isn't making the cut.

Nothing's getting cut. The editors and writers have said time and again that Astonishing and X-Men are going to be rather fancy-free with the continuity so that they aren't tied up with everything else going through the other main books, to make them more "accessible" to the casual reader. That is why those two books are not expected to be in the silhouetted ones.
 
I liked things so much better when all the books had teh same time lines and whatnot. It stinks to see Logan or someone else do something in one book that isn't even acknowledged in another. Makes it all a waste of time. :(
 
I agree. I hate current Comic Book continuity. They just come out with stories and when it's all finished let the fans figure out how it fits. It's a joke.

I like where they are going with this. In the link below, CBR put up all of the teasers together. The Gen Hope/X-Men/Uncanny teasers all go together with blue logo's and Utopia in the background while the Wolverine and the X-Men and Legacy teasers have gold logo's with a different background that doesn't seem to fit with the other 3.

They keep trying to make the Jubilee character relevant but she's a 90s castoff that I dont care for
 
She's no more irrelevant than any other X-Man. :o

I think they should farm out a few to other teams like Colossus, Beast, Jean if she comes back from outer space (I'm Thinking new Defenders), etc.

And maybe just kill a few off or send em to some mutant space colony never to be seen again. (Or until they wanna kill off some people in an event.)

I'm not liking it. I find it utterly absurd that the Uncanny X-Men faction is filled with Magneto, an Avatar of Cytorrak, Emma Frost, a vampiric Jubilee, and Sebastian Shaw while the supposed good side is led by ****ing Wolverine.
 
I don't think there's a good side or bad side. There's just 2 sides with different opinions on what mutants should be doing. Clearly Emma's side is going to stand their ground on Utopia and since that's Magneto's old home, it explains why he's there too.

The big question is where Cyclops fits in. He's either going to be killed, arrested or takes himself out of the question due to Schism's ending. Good thing we don't have to wait long, because Schism is certainly cruising by quickly.
 
No I'm serious, it really feels like they're out "darking" Norman Osborn for crying out loud. I'm kinda expecting them to announce Sabretooth and Mystique on the Uncanny faction anytime soon.
 
All I care about is which team Gambit is going to be on, that's all. :(
 
Gambit will still be exactly where he is now - sniffing X-23's panties.

Hmm, everyone on Emma's side has a blue logo, and everyone on Wolverine's side has a yellow colored logo. One could almost say, golden even. :o
 
I don't care where the hell storm stands, I'm with Logan.
