Don't they have AoA trades? I hate omnibuses cuz they're too freaking big to hold and read. AoA has been on my list to read for a while, but I've been wary of spending the money on it.

They reprinted the collection not too long ago. "Epic Collection," I think it was called. Take a look on Amazon.

$10 bucks says that doesn't even happen anywhere in the story, since 9 out o 10 covers never depict what actually goes on in the issue anymore.

I'd have to agree with this. :( Or it'll be something lame like a dream or some evil dude made them do it.

Ya i know. Im not betting on it to happen. Though the writer did say that everything is happening and isnt just a cop out.

Marvel.com: We heard about a kiss shared between Ororo and Scott. Out of all the love triangles in X-Men history, I don’t think they’ve ever locked lips—what’s going on?

Greg Pak: After Xavier, the X-Men's two greatest leaders are Scott and Ororo. They've borne responsibilities few others can conceive. And just those experiences alone should provide them [with] reasons to bond. But maybe they've just never had a moment to consider it; each has always seemed to be wrapped up in a wild romance with someone else. The current Scott/Emma and Storm/T'Challa relationships are amongst the most passionate in the Marvel Universe. So yes, what the heck is going on? I'll just say that everything that's happening is utterly inconceivable, but completely real, completely in character, and completely in continuity.

Guess its just a wait and see if they do kiss. But not holding my breathe.

Did Storm leave Black Panther or something?

I wish but no she hasnt. Their marriage has added nothing to either character and hasnt helped Storm at all.

When was the last time AX was even in continuity?

It's always been in continuity.
Not really. I havent read the book in ages but back when Whedon was writing and it had its massive delays, Marvel came out and said it worked within its own continuity as a way to explain why it didnt line up with the other titles. I beleive the same was the case with Ellis' run. Its why Beast was in Xenogenesis and cool with Scott even though he had quit the team and had a big falling out with him months earlier in the continuity of the other books

See I was under the same impression.Whedon's Stuff is obviously in continuity due to Danger being a recurring character and the whole bullet thing with Kitty. But didn't Storm have a different costume in AX when Ellis was writing than she did during that time in every other book? Also I haven't seen any Ellis's stuff referenced at all.

It's all in continuity. It always was in continuity. But they don't particularly give a s**t whether it fits perfectly or not.

I blame lazy ass editors. :o

That could be said for most of the offices at Marvel......DC too for that matter.

DC didn't care so much that they decided to reboot the whole universe...

Forge, his turn to evil and his death have not been referenced at all. Armor is barely seen outside of Astonishing. She was Logan's new protege in Astonishing, meanwhile everywhere else it's been X-23, Jubilee (again) or Idie now in Schism. Storm has only been seen with a mohawk in AXM, nowhere else. They might as well call the book Ultimate Astonishing X-Men Forever. It's so screwy I totally avoid it.

Its all canon, but it didnt run in the same current continuity as the other books. Danger didnt show up outside of Whedon's run till 3 years later. AXM pretty much worked within its own bubble not affected by the crossovers or major developments seen in the other titles.

Is everyone waiting for Schism to end before deciding which books to continue?
