Cypher is the white dude who talks to... everything.

Cipher (note the spelling) is a black girl with phasing powers like Kitty's as well as invisibility. She was a member of Young X-Men. She's a retcon character who's been around for a few years, but only a few members of the X-Men have known about her. Cyclops has been using her as a spy, and Blindfold's sentences only sound disjointed because she's been secretly talking to Cipher while holding conversations with other people.

Two very different artists is all. Two different styles, neither good nor bad. That's the good thing about art, it's all good.

Finch did an outstanding job on the Moon Knight relaunch a while back. I ended up dropping the book after a while after he left, but it was him that made me pick it up in the first place.

Same here. Man I wish Silvestri would return as regular artist on an X-book. Ive enjoyed his oneshots that he's done for the line in the last couple of years

I think Finch tries too hard. He could draw a panel of a character standing on the sun while pointing a flashlight at themselves, and he'd still draw 12,000 unnecessary dark shadowy patches across their face.

He was AMAZING on New Avengers and one of the reasons I picked the book up. He isnt as great now as he was then but he still doesnt do bad art

Pacheco. Most of the best from that era. Definetly not a crap 90s artist

I don't get it either but I'm not a fan of 90's Image school of art or their successors and Quitely hate sends me into a blind rage.

I don't know...I'm going to exert my anger/confusion on my wallet by pre-ordering that X-Statix omnibus.

I never heard that complaint but I gotta disagree. I think he was better in the 90s. I still love his art though and so glad he will be a regular in the near future

And yeah, Pacheco was definately one of the best from that era and I'm stoked that he's coming back to Uncanny X-Men

I prefer the slightly more simplistic style of artists like Terry Dodson or Amanda Conner. I think the current X-Factor comic has had some great artists in Pablo Raimondi, Valentine DeLandro, and Emanuela Lupacchino.

I've grown to like Dodson and I definately like Raimondi. I wasn't thrilled with DeLandro and I can't remember what Lupacchino's art looked like. I have no idea who Amanda Conner is.

Yeah, I'd say that X-Factor has had one of the better runs as far as art goes, as long as you ignore when they brought Strohman back. *shudder*

Lupacchino did the arcs where they were in Vegas with Thor and dealt with those strange women who were after Jameson.
