No More Mutants: X-Men Should Lose Their Powers Again
Like in the aftermath of the House of M event, the status quo of Marvel's X-men needs a shakeup, specifically mutants losing their powers once again.www.cbr.com
Terrible article.
That's like a Tuesday for Mutants at this point.(...) returning to the uncertainty and excitement of a world where mutants were on the verge of extinction would do the X-Men series some good.
I feel like we just keep ending up in a situation where the main flagship title is pretty weak.Really feeling the need for X-men waning.
Meanwhile in Uncanny X-men...
There are quite a few books in the current lineup that it could do without, but of course, it has to be NYX that's ending at #10. Three more issues and one of them is an X-Manhunt tie-in. Really trying to kill my excitement, I guess.![]()
Yeah, I'm incredibly annoyed that it's ending so soon. And NYX#8 was perfection too.
Especially for a NXM fan like myself.
It appears that NYX, X-Force, and X-Factor are the first casualties. I find it fascinating that Phoenix made the cut. Gives me hope for Psylocke and Magik. Both are books that I really enjoy at the moment.
More of the same this week.Lot of stale X-Men vs X-Men stuff in the crossover so far.
I agree. Remender was able to write Deadpool by still keeping him funny/crazy at times but without being obnoxious. Which made it better, when you had the serious moments with him, like with Ethan's death messing him up and bothered no one else seems to care. While not technically X-men, one of my favorites is still Uncanny X-Force
Great comedy, great action thanks to some beautiful art by Jerome Opena, wonderful use of continuity/canon, hard hitting emotional beats for all the characters, and the best ever depiction of Deadpool imo.
