alright i saw x3 last night and i was very dissapointed and i need to let out my sadness to possibly other sad people...:(:(:(

1 - wtf happened to nightcrawler?
2 - why is kitty in the final battle...shes like 12, nightcrawler woulda have been alot better
3 - is it just me or does cyclops seem like he didnt absolutely no acting in x2 and x3
4 - as far as i know they never even mention colossus' name
5 - isnt leech's power to amplify damage? not reduce it...
6 - i thought juggernaut and xavier were brothers/step brothers, yet in one scene they pass right by each other..
7 - the way magneto went out was SO LAME :(
8 - they left so many unanswered questions at the end...like if pyro or iceman died... or juggernaut ( who is indestructable but who knows in a movie like this... )
9 - i heard they were going to make another xmen trilogy called generation x or something like that... can anyone confirm that?

yeah so do your best to make me not as sad...i know this movie was for the sake of the people who havent ever picked up an xmen comic or anything involving xmen but cmon...

1. Alan Cumming didn't want to go through the make-up process again and didn't want to come back.
2. Because she has been in all three films, and in training (with the Danger Room) and she was "ready".
3. Cyclops had good enough time in X2, for the story, as well as in X3. However more would have been welcome, and AWESOME.
4. Wolverine does..."Hey Colossus, nice throw"
5. No, his power is to take power away....however his name in the books is DORIAN, and is a green little mutant.
6. I was dissapointed at that too...but that's a movie in it's own.
7. Actually, I thought that was one of the best moves in the film.
8. Iceman got off the Island with Kitty and Leech. And was see him at the end talk to Rogue, as well as Leech at school, and Kitty at the graves. We don't see Juggernaut get away, or the other various members of the brotherhood (Pyro, Magneto) but it is assumed that if Magneto, a normal old man now, got away, so did they. Also, that's how Magneto managed to get away from authorities...he got away during all of the confusion.
9. Nah, just one spin off movie, directed and written by Zack Penn. As well as a Wolverine prequel, and a Magneto prequel. However there are rumors of an X4, 5, and 6 in the works some time.

Hope these help.

There's a thread for this, so, prepare for merging...

All those questions have more or less been answered in the past few months.

I'll recap just to avoid more reiterations.

Nightcrawler's absence was already explained in the Xmen game.

Kitty is 17. Good god. Drop the age issue for the actress, please. It's getting old. It wasn't like she didn't act with immaturity but she exhibited intelligence, courage and sassiness.

Marsden's acting was good in the little time he had. And as for the use of Cyclops - no argument that he was woefully mishandled. But that's up for another debate, and I don't want to touch on it though. I'll say though that Wolverine did steal some of Cyke's more noble and definite qualities that makes the latter such a prominent player of the team dynamics.

Colossus. He's not the only exception. But while an 'official' reference is nice, it's not really important as far as I'm concerned.

Amplify damage? You don't know Leech's character well. If you know how the properties of the cure work, they're to nullify mutations. The cure just takes a step further by proposing a permanent solution. However, that is what Leech does. Not the opposite. How did you arrive at that conclusion?

The history between Jugs and Xavier was brushed away for the same reasons the general public remains unaware of the connection between Mtystique and Nightcrawler, or Mystique and Rogue. This is just another nitpick that's old now.

Magneto's demise is your opinion.

No. A spinoff which focuses on the teenagers.. But a new set of trilogy could possibly be made, or even a fourth film.

Wrong. Alan Cumming reportedly cleared his schedule so he could prepare to don the blue garb once more. He was dropped perhaps for logistical reasons but he did want to return.

That's incumbent logic. Shadowcat was featured in the form of two cameos played by two different actresses, and it had nothing to do with increased screentime she had nor the action scenes. There was no build up as well. Inversely, Rogue is more of a player than Shadowcat yet she has little action. But I would fault other reasons for that being. Colossus fit into this same case, but for different reasons.

Dorian? Er, no. Leech - unless if that is his real name.

7. The method inwhich Mags was taken out was awesome but his response sucked orangatang ass!

i just wish people would get it through their heads that the movies pull ideas from the comics not copy. i can't see wh people are in such an uproar about this now. none of the movies have been close to what happened in the comics. mysstique has never worked with magneto, for one example. i think the only thing that is 100% copied from the books are the main characters name and powers. peope need to be open minded and stop crying like little girls. this is not a comicbook. if thats what people wanted then the batman movies wouldn't have flopped. they were definately comicbook movies. the x-men movies have prided themselves as trying to be as real as possible. and they continued that in this movie. if you wanted things to be identical, get someone to sew some spandex suits pull out the comics ans start filming lol and it will be utter crap lol.
