I take it no bones were broken?

I once stepped into a hollow bit in the snow. My whole leg went through it up to the waist, and someone came over to help, but his leg soon followed mine. Quite embarrassing.

Never mind snow. I LOATHE winter. :argh:

I wasn't sure if it was broken, as it happened just before Christmas and I stupidly didn't want to get caught up in A&E for hours just to find out. I did go and get it checked on New Years Eve though, it's just badly sprained and will probably hurt for another 6 weeks they said.

I broke my toe a coupla weeks ago. :( I walked into something heavy. It didn't move but my toe shure did. It still hurts.

Last night, I woke up with the worst case of leg cramps. Felt like someone was twisting a knife in my calf. Someone told me that wrapping a rubber band round your big toe makes the cramp go away. Any truth to that?

I think that by the time you find a rubber band and tie it around your toe, the cramp goes away itself.

In this hypothetical situation, rubber bands are within reaching distance.

Well, it's something for me to try the next time them little ****ers catch me off-guard. Better than massaging, probably ineffectively, away my stabbing pains and being at the complete mercy of chance. :/

How ironic, considering your username.

My mother told me to just walk them off. *shrugs* I also heard that most cramps come from a lack of potassium. Eat more bananas.

Thanks, Squeek. You're the Mom.

Google seems to agree with the lacking potassium bit, too.

Bananas... MmmMM. *river of own drool commences*

:woot::woot::woot: Honestly, I never even thought of that!!! :awesome:
Oftentimes, what we say when self-unaware is most revealing than what we say when restrained.

In that case... Traitor to your own cause, you are! :cmad::huh::awesome:

From your perfect punctuation, grammar, and lack of typos, not drunk enough. :o

Looks like it!! :wow:

:csad:

How will I live with myself?

I think I just broke my toe.

lol

:(

I did that a coupla weeks ago. I stubbed the front of it, but had a bruise that ringed the base of it, right where it connects to my foot. Did yours do that too?

I think I've hit the top, but it's hard to tell as the whole toe is swollen. There's nothing a doctor can do for a toe is there?
