Finally watched Hairspray....I wasn't expecting a lot out of it but I was surprised...it was VERY entertaining. I can't choose specifics about what I liked, but I'll tell you about the things I didn't like I didn't like John Travolta as Edna...I don't know if they thought a man dressed in drag would just be funny or if they seriously considered him for the role? w/e though. hated the singing part with her and Wilbur. ah, one thing that I really liked was Penny's mom, Prudy, played by Allison Janney...I don't know I'll watch the movie again soon because one viewing certainly wasn't enough.
