Year Zero: The Movie: The Thread

So, according to an interview in Kerrang! magazine, Trent Reznor is now in talks to do a movie based off of his upcoming concept album, Year Zero. The album is set 15 years in a dystopian future, where the government has taken over all aspects of it's citizens lives, muslim countries and terrorist groups have united in an all out holy war with the west, and a mysterious "presence" has been seen by many people, and told from multiple perspectives. The talks may go no where (ala Green Day's rumored American Idiot movie, which has been stuck in production hell for 2 years now), or it could be the greatest movie ever made. Cause dystopian sci-fi and NIN both rule

yes, the hand coming from the sky is The Presence...also seen on the album cover, and when using a spectrograph on the static of one of the leaked songs...
