And that's something to be ashamed of.... why???

BECAUSE PALESTINIANS ARE TERRORISTS!!

DUM DUM DUUUUUUUMMMMMMM!

Aren't you Irish?

kainedamo said:
And that's why you're both dumbasses.

"You're against Israel?? TERRORIST LOVER!!"

Then you admit to being against Israel.

Thank you for your honesty.

I think we should strap a parachute onto President Bush and drop him into Iraq.
I agree, but spare the parachute.

You try to make it sound like an extreme position.

I'd love to hear what an extreme position is from you.

So much for that "fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here" crap. How is the war in Iraq helping to make the world safer again?

I'd honestly like a response to this from our pro-war posters here on the Hype.

Those terrorists who are trying to harm us are doing it largely independent of Iraq. Even if we were fairly isolationist, they'd still be doing it because they want us under their boots.

Remember 9/11 or the tower bombings of 1992 or the beirut bombings in 1982?

The US was neither in Afghanistan or Iraq when they pulled off those.

The problem is this policy:

"Come Immigrants! Come and live here, Britain is nice :)! We will give you Housing, Food, Work and Unemployment Benefits"

So what do the immigrants do? They come and create a breeding gound to plot putting bombs on planes.

Well done Mr Blair, as a lifelong Labour supporter I salute you!

British Intelligence is astounding

Exactly, that's what I'm saying. The Bush administration has pointedly said that the war in Iraq is making the world safer, and this is proof that it's not. Thanks for agreeing with me.

Not doing anything isn't going to make the world safer.

Chamberlain tried that.

I do agree that some elements among Muslim immigranta to the UK have proved problematic. I think that this is partly reflective of the over-representation of particularly backward, ill-educated and aggressive cultures in our intake; namely Muslim men from north western Pakistan and Kashmir. Most immigrants- Indian, Chinese, South American and East European- mix in pretty nicely, open restaraunts, start businesses, pay taxes, and inter-marry with the native population. It is for the benifit of these people that our favorable treatment of newcomers exists, and I think that it is broadly right.

The more backward Muslim communities don't intergrate in the same way: many do not speak English, and often they feel a greater sense of loyalty to their fellow Muslims than to any nation state. These are optimum conditions for the fermentation of treason and insurrection.

What is the solution? I don't know, or at least I can't envision a solution that would not entail treating people differently depending on their religion and ethnicity, which is unconstitutional and morally uncomfortable. But I will say that we can no longer tolerate groups who choose to opt out of nationhood, whilst dwelling within our nation.

Thank goodness it was stopped! Hopefully, this is the end of this particular attack plan...very proud of the British Govt'; my Uncle is a Senior Captain (I think that's his title anyways) for BA, and I guess I can rest assure that he'll be OK.

Wait... kainedamo isn't backing them? I thought he supported terrorists.

NO he doesn't; he doesn't support Israel's mass killing of civilians if that's what you mean though!

So many dumbasses on the hype. Oh so many.

Immigrants help our economy massively. Most of them are good law abiding people that contribute to society.

If you want to blame policies, blame foreign policy.

Nice dodge. Are you saying that entering into an arbitrary war is better than doing nothing? Diverting our military resources to an uninvolved country like Iraq has probably done more to make the world unsafe than it has to secure it. Who's Chamberlain?

You're an idiot....

And that's a bad thing how? My relatives WHO ARE JEWS (some are Orthodox) and LIVE in Israel are against the killings, and think that the military is taking it too far. So, now (according to you) they're Anti-Semites (and should burn in hell), right?

Good point, the world is a LOT more unstable because of the war in Iraq...the whole world over, notably, Russia and France told Bush that terrorism would INCREASE if we entered that war. Anyways, we've got "freedom fires" now to prove how wrong they were!

Neville Chamberlain
