Yogi Bear Headed for the Big Screen

That's an interesting poster...

When I first saw that, I said to myself: "What the ****?"

On second inspection, I just noticed they're both covering their crotches. Huh...

If the bears are wearing what they are wearing in that poster, the movie is bound to get banned in some countries...

That's the way they've always dressed.

Jeez, nothing since March? Guess they cann-OH SWEET F-ING JESUS!!!!!!!:barf:

THE GOGGLES! THEY DO NOTHING!

In some ways, it's not nearly as creepy as I thought it would be... And yet in other ways, moreso. Seeing them actually move will probably put them well into creepy territory though.

At any rate, they're not going to top John K's Yogi cartoons so there's not much point in bothering.

It looks pretty faithful though. I'm interested in seeing this movie.

I'm not sure if I can stand out with Timberlake voicing Boo Boo.

If anything, I see John Goodman voicing Yogi moreso than Dan.

Is this going to be full CG? You know, unlike the inevitably awful upcoming Smurfs movie?

It is going to be CGI mix with live-action, similar to Alvin and The Chipmunks.

Then I'm not interested.

Ok, Aykroid and Timberlake do sounds like Yogi and Boo Boo, but otherwise it doesn't look that bad.

Timberlake's comedic chops come in handy yet again.

Well, this looks slightly better than The Smurfs in New York, but still... why cant any of these cartoon adaptations just be done in full CG? Horton Hears a Who was successful enough, right? Not to mention Pixars stuff...

And Timberlake's Boo Boo voice was hilarious.

They only make them full CG when there are no human characters alongside them usually. In that case, it's pretty much always a live action and CG hybrid.

Wow... Bravo to JT and Akroyd on their voices really faithful to the originals

Shame the voices are going to be wasted on what looks like a mediocre film. I didnt know it was gonna be a mix of CG and live action a full CG wouldve been better

Hmm, that doesn't look too bad, actually. Looks pretty decent, in fact.

Still probably won't see it, though.

looks like they actually managed to capture the spirit of the cartoon... kudos to them. voice cast sounds spot on too, and its good to see a talent like tom cavanaugh's getting a lead role.

You dont appreciate seeing CGI bears being hit in the face by railroad signs?
