The Dark Knight Rises You only get "Three Demands"

Hold on, I am going to demand Raimi to put Venom in SM3...hold on...be right back.

Not really the same thing. A lot of fans had been clamouring for Venom from the get-go with the film series, as he was one of the more prominent villains of the modern era. Raimi's films tend to be based more on the stories of years gone past. There was always going to be a conflict there, especially with that many people wanting Venom.

What's being posted that's the same? The only real consensus I can see is that fans want Catwoman to be given the Nolan treatment. And nowhere near the scale of fans almost demanding Venom in the Spiderman franchise.

Add to that it's two different studios, with different audiences, and a different cast. Spiderman's films didn't have the same critical success to go along with the commercial success of Nolan's Batman films, making studio intervention more likely.

Add to that the millions invested in developing the project before Raimi even became involved, and it's no wonder the studio was going to want to appease the fans. WB, on the other hand, had a successful Batman franchise. It was run into the ground, and I doubt they're going to make the same mistakes. It's why they took their time before announcing a decision on the direction of the next Superman film. They've already spent too much money on mistakes in the past.

1. Nolan brothers
2. Catwoman
3. Selina Kyle

1. Selina Kyle/Catwoman - have her "working" for the mob by day, so she knows their operations, and moonlighting as Catwoman, stealing from the mob (exacting revenge?)

2. Dick Grayson - Hear me out on this. Have Bruce meet Selina (not Catwoman) very early on, ask her out to the circus. There, Dick's parents are killed as a result of mob boss Zucco not being paid off. Dick is taken in by Bruce for three reasons: because Bruce sees him as a fellow orphan, it will help Bruce Wayne's public image (no longer the "drunken billionaire") keeping in mind that with Batman being hunted, more time will be spent on the Wayne persona in the third film. Lastly, because Dick is a material witness against Zucco; he secretly lives with Bruce for protection. Bruce and Dick bond a little, but that's it. Have Dick be kind of curious as to Bruce's activities, and at the end of the movie discover the Batcave, etc. And make sure that he's NO OLDER than 15.

3. No Riddler, not yet. - Riddler, while being VERY different than Joker, is still a little too similar for my taste to be the main villain in the following movie. Instead, go with the already-spoken of idea of Edward Nashton, FBI agent being brought in to catch Batman, constantly trying to figure out his identity. Throughout the film, show his growing resentment as Batman narrowly outsmarts him time & again. Then, at the end when Batman is redeemed (we all know it's coming), have Gordon take Nashton off the case. Fueled by his now hatred of Batman and his spite at being cast off by the Gotham P.D., he plots revenge... (setup for 4th film where it's Dick's beginning as Robin and the (forgive the cliche, please) dynamic duo have to stop him.

1. Scarecrow(must have more Scarecrow)
2. Two Face(he can't be dead)
3. Black Mask

And no Catwoman. Please.

1.Scarecrow...bring him back and make him a threat!
2.Bring everybody back from TDK all cast and crew...or characters that survived the storyline excluding Joker...they should only make mere references to him still being alive and locked up in a newly redesigned Arkham.
3.A believable love interest...Talia is a good start...I don't want to see them do Catwoman.

1. A good story.
2. A good story.
3. A good story.

And also the Joker and Nolan:grin:.

1. 2 hours 30 min - 3 hour movie
2. New or improved batsuit
3. New bat-vehicle

4. No Robin!!

1.Nolan Returns
2.No Joker Recast
3.Ryan Gosling as The Riddler

4.BRING BACK MURHPHY AS SCARECROW

1. Nolan comes back if and when he's ready
2. Same cast and crew plus additional top notch casting
3. Story.

Everything else is optional.

1. The brothers Nolan back
2. Christian back
3. Joe Anderson as The Riddler

1.Catwoman
2.A good actress to play her (preferiably Marion Cotillard)
3.A sexy costume

2. Dick Grayson - Hear me out on this. Have Bruce meet Selina (not Catwoman) very early on, ask her out to the circus. There, Dick's parents are killed as a result of mob boss Zucco not being paid off. Y'know, I really like introducing Dick in that manner. It never really occurred to me to have Dick Grayson but not Robin, but that sounds like it would work quite well.

Dont people remember Nolan said that he will never have Robin in his movies. And Bale said if Robin is put in, he is going to quit.

As far as what I want to see would be:

1. Alfred in the Bat Suit!
2. Egghead
3. King Tut
3.1. Chief Ohare

oh wait I just saw all of that on MeTv's Batman marathon =x

now my serious answers:

1. Great story that brings the thrid movie to a full circle.
2. A villian never before seen on the big screen.
3. Nolan must come back

The Nolan Brothers
Christian Bale
Catwoman

1. The Nolan Brothers
2. Christian Bale
3. Stop limiting rogues with realism BS

I'd like to get more mention of Bruce's parents in the next one. They didn't mention them once in TDK. I know the film was jammed packed but still; that's the whole essence of the character.

Not really. The whole essence of the character is his commitment to his duty, as evident in TDK. His parents are the reasoning behind his commitment. It's his sense of duty that keeps him going...his responsibility, not his parents.

I think after the events that happened in TDK that introducing a new female character can either be a very good thing OR a very bad thing.

1. Nolan must be back. With him will be Bale and the rest of the core cast. So that's two birds with one stone. :brucebat:

2. Gotta tie up the Joker's loose threads. Where is he now? What will become of Gotham?

3. There has to be some sort of resolution for Batman himself. I don't see any other Nolan films after the third, so they gotta wrap almost everything up without killing everybody off (a la X-Men 3 and Spider-Man 3)

I have one demand.

Quit portraying Batman as someone who quits at the first sign of adversity.

"Alfred...is it my fault the city is overrun with freaks? I should...I should give up being Batman again. I've failed. Again."

Anyone else think the best way to complete a trilogy would be to include a floppy fringe and dance montage? No? :csad:

This thread is a good idea. Here are my 3 things:

1) The writers of TDK, key members of the production team, and the key actors, but not necessarily Nolan. Release him if he wants to direct something else - I realize that he WAS one of the writers, though. I'd want him back for that.

What Nolan did was to prove that Batman, treated a certain way, had strong box office appeal. There are other directors who can take it from here, and many of them will edit the final cut (especially action sequences) better than Nolan could. But you do want to hold over some of the key people, who have learned something about handling and portraying the character, You don't want to lose that all at once.

2) Catwoman. Dominatrix-for-hire, sometime cat burglar, cynical about men. (Except maybe for ONE man, who doesn't quite fit her preconceptions.)

3) The mutant gang. They fill the vacuum left by Maroni et al. The mob at least had goals and order, but the mutants just want to rule. They're like the Joker - they don't care whether they rule from a penthouse or a swamp. (Just like the comics, they hold meetings in a junkyard.) Some of them even wear 'homemade' Joker t-shirts and leather jackets.

Bringing in a gang lets Nolan (if he directs) build the villain(s) he needs to suit his film. He also has a pretty good street feel for gang behavior and details (see Tiny Lister in TDK).

No Riddler this film. Too soon after Joker to bring in another villain famous for his laugh.

Three more rules for the next film after this:

1) By now you're replacing some or all of the cast. Dial up Nolan's casting people.

2) Thalia Al Ghul shows up, with a surprise. Turns out her people were the ones who took Dent away in TDK...

3) The Riddler is a consultant who is brought in on criminal cases. He is brought in to hunt down the Batman.

1. I want total focus on Bruce Wayne and Batman, like Travis Bickle with Taxi Driver, but with enough supporting characters thrown in to make it work. Like his parent's death and the situation he set up for himself at the end of TDK.

2. Nolan. Both of them. "Nuff said.

3. A great villian. Someone with the threat thtat Joker posed, but with a different additude towards crime. The mob also needs to play a big part here.

As a bonus: No happy ending. That's just something that would elevate it into something great.:brucebat:
