On another note, I really do hope that the "Agents of SHIELD" series have people talking about their perspective on Thor since we've never really gotten a chance to see on how humanity has really reacted upon learning about Thor's existence. The best indication that we've gotten so far was Aldrich's comment to Tony in "Iron Man 3" on how nothing has been the same since Thor came to Earth in the 21st Century.

On another note, I really do hope that the "Agents of SHIELD" series have people talking about their perspective on Thor since we've never really gotten a chance to see on how humanity has really reacted upon learning about Thor's existence. The best indication that we've gotten so far was Aldrich's comment to Tony in "Iron Man 3" on how nothing has been the same since Thor came to Earth in the 21st Century.

Hopefully they delve more into that in T:TDW and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Great interview with Hemsowrth where he talks about muscling down for Rush though he says he much much prefers muscling up.

He's currently shooting The Heart Of The Sea and he was supposed to muscle down for this one too but I guess that idea was scrapped because he looks pretty ****ing big now and the movie is already in production.

You took the words right out of me. For Scandinavians in particular, learning that their old gods are REAL must be ... I don't even know what word to use to describe it. "World-changing" is probably an understatement! And what about the world's Christians or Muslims? What about the Pope?

They could center an episode around this easily, perhaps stage some kind of crisis in the Vatican or in the Middle East where new populations of Thor-worshipers are suddenly emerging and upsetting the social structures. One such worshiper is suspected of having super powers and so SHIELD has to get involved and try to figure out how to extract him and possibly defuse a volatile situation.

Curious to get some feedback on this question, but from everything that we've seen of Thor's abilities so far within the MCU, do you think that Thor would be strong enough to take on all of Iron Man's suits at once (that were shown in Iron Man 3)?

I was just watching Iron Man 3 and while it's somewhat a given that Thor would have no trouble in dispatching the Extremis soldiers, I wonder on how he'd fair against all of Iron Man's suits coming at him at once.

In the comics, Has Thor ever dealt with multiple Stark Armors before ?

Probably. He certainly *should* be able to. Guy is class 100, which is a measure beyond what Tony can really hurt without suicide overcharging, and he has vastly powerful area attacks to boot. Tony sending a bunch of armors at Thor should largely go "Thor shrugs off their combined blasts with some dramatic scorching, then unleashes massive burst of lightning that fries most of them in one go."

It's not uncommon for an actor to work again with directors whom they have had pleasant working relations with. It's like working at a job you really enjoy because of your employer.

Well, one thing's for sure, I do hope that before Chris finishes up playing Thor within the MCU that we get to see him in a situation where he comes across a band/set of earthbound criminals, that upon seeing him, just immediately give up after nearly crapping their pants since they know that they're screwed.

Heck, even though it would be such a one sided fight, I would have enjoyed seeing Thor take on some extremis soldiers and seeing the looks on their faces when they realize that everything they got is still no match for the god of thunder. They can't harm him by touching him since I doubt that their greatest heat signature would phase him and there's no way that they can beat him in strength, let alone match him in it.

Yeah; if the theories are true that Thor either settles on Earth (momentarily in the long run) at the end of TDW or even decides to visit it more often, then the next Avengers film could open up with him tackling some earthbound villains. I mean, I knew that one of Whedon's original ideas regarding on how Iron Man was to be introduced in the first Avengers' film (before he decided to bring Pepper into the story) was Iron Man taking on some mercenaries in South America.

And congrats on the Avy upgrade.

As much as I love Thor & Avengers, I have to say, his TDW look really is the best so far.
