Probably the ending of Throne Of Blood. Even to this day if you watch the arrow scene you will think "how the hell did they do that?". The car scene and battlezone scene in Children Of Men I also really like.

Lotta great ones on this list, and there's a ton I can think of, but *easily* the first one that springs to mind is one that is too goddamn epic for Youtube. It involves hundreds of police cars, an Illinois Nazi Ford Pinto that was actually honest-to-god dropped from a height of over 1 mile over the city of Chicago, and the toughest '74 Dodge Monaco retired cop cruiser on the face of the planet.

When it comes to car chases, *nothing* compares to The Blues Brothers.

I'm surprised no-one's mentioned the restaurant shootout from John Woo's A Better Tomorrow, that's definitely one of the best foreign action scenes ever. As for the rest of them...
