With these movies listed(plus some others) I'd go:
1.Star Wars OT
2.LoTR trilogy
3.Aliens trilogy
4.Indiana Jones trilogy
5.Bourne trilogies*
6.Spider-man
7.Saw
8.Blade
9.Matrix
10.Xmen
Movies I just couldnt put in top 10.
JP: first was good and series went extinct after
Back to Future: After first one it went back in time
James Bond: hard one to leave off,but not a big bond fan overall
Pirates: After first one series walked the plank and dove off...
Halloween/Friday the 13th: As classics as Halloween 1 was it got silly and cliche after, same with Friday the 13th(O, possible Remake next year courtesy of Micheal Bay).
Harry Potter: Never read the novels nor watched anyof the movies so I cant really say..
Jaws: First was a classic, but rest was subpar.
Superman: Nother hard decision,it had 3 good movies(sm1,sm2,smreturns),but rest got hit with kryptonite.
Batman: batman and batman begins were good, but rest should of stayed in the batcave..

I would put Terminator over a lot of that list... Best is Indiana Jones IMO

James Bond, for the sole reason that it has lasted a mighty long time, and well Star Wars is kids stuff and too silly for me to enjoy anymore, but believe me when i say i enjoyed the flicks from 5 to 10 years old.Spidey comes in second along with the big horror series like Halloween,Friday the 13th, NOES,and TCM

id say james bond by far . hes managed to be around this long and not have that many complaints.
i would of said the obvious star wars but it has let down people on an epic scale. its a goldmine of oppurtunity that hasnt been seized enough . also frickin jar jar

James Bond wins this by default. Prepping its 22nd movie, spanning over 40 years, I'm sorry but no other movie franchise is touching it.

If I had to personally rank them?

1. Star Wars
2. Indiana Jones
3. Godfather
4. Lord of the Rings
5. Man with No Name
6. Back to the Future
7. Bond
8. Harry Potter
9. Bourne
10. Spider-Man
11. Aliens

Star Wars.
How does Jaws make the list? There's sequels? Never heard of them if there was they must of been *cough*piecesofsh%%*Cough*.

Harry Potter and Indiana Jones are probably the only franchises on the list that haven't suffered from one or more really crappy sequels (yet). But I think I'll stick with Harry Potter since it has five movies more or less equal in quality compared to Indy's three movies

Pirates for me. The sequels only got better and better.

-Morzan

potter has had the best streak of any movie franchise so far.

5 movies and still not one that even comes close to being bad?

that's like, history. no other franchise can claim that... ever.

James Bond wins this by default. Prepping its 22nd movie, spanning over 40 years, I'm sorry but no other movie franchise is touching it.

umm...

indiana jones had 3 great movies, so did back to the future, spider-man almost did (3 was meh, for sure) same with X-men, and blade... jaws only had the first, the matrix is easily the best trilogy out there, lord of the rings was boring crap, and star wars had the prequels...

so, yeah, harry potter, by a long, long shot.

for the love of god, could you just...IDK...leave me alone?

I was just pointing out the fact that it has more films than Bond does...quality of films wasn't brought up ,just quantity...

Stop being an a**hole towards me...

CFE

bond..... sooooo many films... people are still not tired of this man.

SAW seems like it'll be around for a long time too.... with a 1min dollar budget raking in tens of millions... it sure to hold up.
