KORATH: 'Star-Lord!'

QUILL: (incredibly pleased) 'FINALLY!'

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DRAX: It is most pleasing to be able to count you as my friends. Quill, you are my friend. The dumb tree-stump, he is my friend.

And the green ****e, she...

GAMORA: You messed up!!

My favorite line:

Quill: "Put a blacklight in here, this place would look like a Jackson Pollock painting."

Quill: "my dick message!"

I lost it laughing, kinda feel bad for the others in the theater.

The opening credits sequence is amazing.

I think the funniest moment for me is when Groot goes nuts on the Dark Aster, killing about 20 guys by smashing them on the walls. Then turns around and gives this big goofy smile to Drax and Quill.

Groot dancing to the Jackson 5 was adorable.

Groot's sacrifice and "we are Groot"

Thanos was pretty bad ass, although they do need to improve his look a bit. I liked how he put Ronan down with his words and seemed rather amused. It showed that destroying planets is nothing to him, it's childs play.

Rocket opening his heart in the bar and everyones shocked silence.

The scene where Quill saves Gamora. Genuine, earned emotion.

Every scene with Rookers Yondu

Rocket's tantrums. He really broke my heart. Speaking of Rocket & hittin the feels, when Peter sees how Rocket has been experimented on, and he obviously feels bad for him. That was great.

There's more, but then I'd spoil 99% of the film :oldrazz:

"Nothing will go over my head, I have too quick of reflexes. I will catch it and kill it."

Korath saying "Star Lord" all seriously and epic, followed by Peter saying "Finally" was so full of win I don't even think I was able to handle that win.

We are Groot. (Isn't it awesome how Vin is both Groot and The Iron Giant, and they both have an epic last line that makes you want to cry and stand up and cheer)

Rocket's outburst was so awesome, you feel so sorry for him right there (Cooper was fantastic, but I think the entire Guardians team was fantastic)

Thanos' smile and threatening to bathe in Ronan's blood if he screwed up again. (Right there I was thinking, "yep the avengers better call the guardians in the third film. This guy is not one to mess with"

Quill giving Gamora his helmet

Ah the heck with it, the whole freakin movie! What an amazing year for Marvel Studios! Best two movie punch yet from them!

Too many to name but the one that stood out to me was
Groot slamming Ronan's guys into the wall to the point of overkill and then he turns around and gives the most innocent, non-threatening smile.
I lost it :funny:

"BEHOLD!" I dunno why I laughed as hard as I did at that, but it broke me.

Is that Drax's "BEHOLD!"? When Quill was coming back?
Yep, that's the one. When I realized he wasn't gonna follow it up with anything and was actually just using it to say, "LOOK!" And then they showed Star-Lord having his majestic flying superhero moment, I just lost it.

haha yea it was great. I loved Bautista in this. Perfect blend of bad ass and almost child like.

Haha, yeah, 'BEHOLD!' was such classic Marvel cosmic-speak, and so funny and totally earnest in Bautista's delivery.

Even after seeing the movie, people are still insulting the guy's acting. Did they see the same movie as me? Because he killed every scene he was given. Even NYTimes' Manohla Dargis, who I usually can't stand, said he was terrific. The guy has muscles AND talent. I loved him.

Yea i think it's a testament to Gunn as well. It's like he showed so much confidence and faith in Bautista. He filled him with belief and he went out there and gave a truly free and believable performance.

Yeah, I was completely unfamiliar with him before this, but I've noticed a lot of people who know him from wrestling seem to be some of his biggest detractors, and I dunno if he's terrible in that or what, but it feels like they may be bringing some preconceived notions into the theater with them when watching this. Which would be a shame if true, because I absolutely loved his performance and can't imagine anyone else playing the role the way he did.

You could really tell his anger and rage came from a place of pain and sorrow too. It was a layered performance.

"We're like Kevin Bacon!!"

Gamora is adorable. :D

"What if someone has something that I want and I take it from them, and I want it more than they do?"

Rocket 'losing it' and revealing parts of his backstory to everyone brought the feels. I felt terrible for the little guy. :(

Hands down my favorite Guardian although, they were ALL GREAT.

Yeah, that scene was very well done.

That and the opening credits were two of my favorite moments. But then again, there were so many great moments it tough to single any out.

I felt terrible with Rocket's back story.

Best moment, Drax petting Rocket. Reminded me that I need a big freaking pet as well.
