Your Hate Has Made You Powerful: The Things You Hate Thread

I kind of hate that everyone I meet remembers Kurtwood Smith for Red Forman and not Clarence Boddicker.

You'll love my dad, then. He saw me watching That '70s Show a couple years back and he was asking me what Clarence Boddicker was doing in it :whatever:

I hate teenagers who complain about being old.

You're. A. Teenager. I guess it's true that youth is wasted on the young.

They should have had Peter Weller guest star on That 70s Show. Seeing him and Smith trade barbs years after "Robocop" would have been awesome.

I hate people that go to great length to point out my flaws to me, when I am already fully aware that I have them.

I hate it when people point out the fact that I'm a large person. I get it. It's fairly obvious, but people still point it out all the time.

Just point out their flaws.

If they're tall, call em Lurch. If they're skinny call em slim. If they're ugly call em Captain fugly or whatever. :o

My nickname at work was Herman Munster  I love the Munsters, but I hated that nickname

I hate that a guy I know keeps trying to get me to go skydiving or body surfing. No matter how many times I refuse, he keeps asking. Crazy physical activities dont sound fun to me at all.

I have the same problem with a buddy of mine. He wants me to go mountain climbing and cliff diving and all kinds of **** that I just don't want to do.

I hate blisters resulting from my own absent-mindedness.

My poor feet :csad:.

I don't understand people like you.

I don't really understand people who are unwilling to step out of their comfort zone to try or experience new things. Often times when I have been apprehensive to try something new, I do it anyway and find that I really enjoyed activities such as the ones you two are describing. I'm in no way a "crazy physical activity" type person but the few times I've done things that fall under that category... I never regretted it and was very glad that I did them versus not doing them.

I hate it when people add 'for a ...' to the end of a compliment.

Like 'You look pretty good tonight, for a big girl' or anything along those lines :whatever:

Makes me wanna punch them in the face :cmad:

I hate that I was only 5 minutes away from work and some women slammed into my car going 40mph, which made me slam into the guy in front of me since we were at a stoplight.

Sounds like I'm going to need to get a new car since the repair cost will probably be worth more than my car. Sucks because my car has been paid off for about 3 years now. Just added another bill to my life...****!

I hear ya. Similar thing happened to me a month ago(minus slamming into car in front of me). Repairs cost more than the car's technical worth and I didn't have the extra that insurance wouldn't pay. Totally paid off the car too; I'm still car-hunting.

1. I hate people calling me "boy". Exactly who gave you the ability to decide what I am and what I'm not? Especially coming from some truly ignorant hick.:cmad:

2. I hate being in a room full of other writers.

Wanna box polar bears in Alaska wit me? It'll be rad! :awesome:

I want to try those, but the problem is with my glasses
