Two hours more a day isn't all that bad. When I was in mortgage, near the end of the month I would be working from 8:00AM to 10:00 - 11:00PM at times getting all the files prepped to fund. It's worth it for the OT, nice fat paychecks.

Your post reminded me of that line from Dumb & Dumber.

Yeah, what a lazy slacker I am, not wanting to work 10 hours a day. There's a huge difference between a 40 hour work week and a 50 work week; like a 25% difference.

I'm very happy with my chill 30 hour a week job, with good pay, lots of vaca and benefits, and the free time comes in handy to focus on my Masters which I'm doing concurrently.

Depends on the job too. When it's a mentally taxing job, 8 hrs straight is very long.

At the lab, we sometimes worked longer but there was a lot of downtime. And our hours weren't that stringent. It depended on kind of experiments we were running.

I hate that on Tuesday I was in a bit of rush to get a bite to eat. I stopped by Wendy's & bought a small burger from their Value Menu. A couple of hours later I started getting the "runs" & I highly suspect it's from that burger I ate, since I didn't anything prior to that. NEVER, will I ever buy anything from that garbage dump, again!!!

I've had the "runs" happen to me when eating Taco Bell, Pollo Loco and Subway, luckily I've had it happen while I'm at home and not in a public place.

I hate suck ups in general & brown nosers. There is a particular piece of excrement at my place of employee who not only is one of these types, but is also a cheap low life. He squeals on other employees & totally is always sucking up to the boss or supervisor/s. Whenever we have get togethers or parties, he never brings anything to the parties & happily eats & stuff, but once the food or alcohol runs out....he always makes a discreet exit.

They're also spilling out everywhere to other places with their horrid opinions. I blame this all on Kane. He should have fixed this by now.
