My idea is to cancel all the X-books and to start fresh with a limited roster and two ongoings.

Getting rid of all the time traveling/alternate reality/dopplerganger characters that dilute the X-men.

It'll be a back to basics approach, with the premise of Xavier realizing that Scott can handle the school, while he changes his mission to a 'Peace Corp/Red Cross' type mission. Beast no longer teaches at the school and has dedicated himself to his role as both lead doctor/scientist and figurehead of the 'X-Factor Center' and Jamie Madrox will act as staff.

Auxillary X-Men characters like Husk,Magma,Gambit, and Forge will be limited to rare guess appearances.

Prof. X was always more the guy who sent them on missions than an actual member of the team. I don't think he would have got listed much no matter when this question was asked
