Gods but did I love CLASH as a kid. Mom took me to see it and I remember it because we had to take a subway to get to the theater which was a HUGE grand old deal. Wish I remember where it was back in 81. But it was one of those that was still styled in the old fashioned way, super lux. From then on as a kid, at least before getting overplayed on cable, it was always a treat to see it on TV.

I loved all Harryhausen movies....I always loved the stop motion animation he did....a real genius. Got to meet him at a con and thank him for his movies a few years before he died.

Lucky you. The art of stop motion deserves a lot of love, even more when it's added to live action.

I can't deal with stop motion. CGI has ruined me. :(

Classics always deserve to be appreciated, cause they made room for the modern to exist.

Oh nice. Yes I absolutely loved them all.

I’m not getting bored of it anytime soon.

It's too darn hot outside. :(

I haven't seen any talk about it here on the Hype but this weekend I was at something called Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. which is basically and exhibit with a bunch of movie props and a few "games" and bunch of info about the characters and the movies.
It was pretty cool to be honest but I wish it had more stuff to show. Still, it wasn't very expensive at all.

Then why were you gardening today? Here's the video.

The GRAVITY FALLS tribute episode to Ray is fun.

As far as stop motion goes, I was more of a Seventh Voyage of Sinbad guy. King Kong was great too, but I feel more nostalgia with Seventh Voyage.

7th VOYAGE OF SINBAD is one of the best fantasy and stop motion animation films made.

My favorite Harryhausen creatures were in the Golden Voyage of Sinbad: the multi-armed bronze statue and the centaur/cyclops.

My favorite critter of his was the Ymir from 20 MILLION MILES TO EARTH.

Felt old today when the dental student working on my teeth this morning had never heard of Spinal Tap.

just be glad they didn't try to give you one :rimshot:

Big milestone for me tonight: Crossed 40,000 words on my novel. I've never written that much before, on a single project.
