I enjoyed the first Transformers but there was no growth from that movie.

You know If Godfather 3 was like one quarter better than it was then more people would look favorably towards that trilogy because the first two films were outstanding.

Regardless of the Nolanites may say, there's no perfect trilogy either. But I think there's a good 15-20 trilogies that are consistently good.

Oh and I know it's a little cheating but I think 1st 3 Harry Potter movies should be an honorable mention too.

I won't. I made that mistake with the 2nd one and after that was just like, "nope, I'm out." Then the trailers for the 3rd one made it seem so much more epic, and I was like, "ok, one more chance, looks like they're improving." Nope. THEY WON'T GET ME ONE MORE TIME. I'M GOING TO RESPECT MYSELF, DAMMIT.
