What are you guys looking forward to the most with the Snyder cut? I can't narrow it down to one thing. Hell, I can't narrow it down to like 20 lol but the first thing that comes to mind is this shot and how much I need to see the actual movie footage of it.

If it looks this good in B-roll can you imagine how gosh darn awesome it'll look in the movie? Look we can see Zack filming it in the gif

edit: Zack sure loves his sparks and/or flashing lights for dramatic effect. That and his penchant for slow-mo are so self-indulgent but you just can't deny how awesome it looks.

As much as I would love for an announcement to be made regarding the Snyder cut, I wouldn't get your hopes up guys.

I doubt Junkie's announcement has anything to do with DC, let alone with JL.

Yeah they supposedly had a few lines each. I'm left wondering what cold fill in those other 13 minutes. What we got in the TC was only slightly over 2 minutes. A couple of lines from Zeus, Artemis, Ares and the Lantern could only take up like... 15 to 20 seconds at most. So what did the rest comprise of? In the TC, it cuts straight to the invasion with no build up. But again, the build up would probably account for like 2 or 3 minutes and most so that still leaves a full 10 minutes of stuff.

I can't even remember where I got that from. I just remember someone (who ended up predicting a bunch of stuff) saying it was as long as the Krypton opening sequence in MOS and isn't that around 15 minutes?

Oh that actually could potentially provide the answer to how those 10 (or however many) minutes would be filled. Steppenwolf apparently had a meaningful and interesting backstory where he was tired, worn out, forced to conquer worlds on behalf of Darkseid in the hopes of earning his freedom. I can't see anywhere else where that fleshing out of his character would occur. So yeah a lot of that history lesson very well could be devoted to him. Ciaran Hinds made it very clear that he was going to be a villain with depth, and that's so not what we got. Probably a big part of the reason he came out and said the TC "wasn't the movie he worked so hard on". Because the scenes devoted to his character were removed.

Apart from these 3, which I dunno if its there, I would be really be looking forward to everything you mentioned.

Things I would be particularly excited about :

-Backstories and character development for all the characters
-Epic visuals, proper color grading, and badass music
-A proper ending to the trilogy

If these boxes are ticked, I would be thrilled

But I'm not getting my hopes up about the Snyder cut. WB are clueless, as we saw yesterday. I think its just Zack and Clay having fun on Vero.

I'm gonna keep expectations in check but I think Zack's got something cooking. Zack doesn't seem like a guy that'd string his fans along for no reason, I think he would've made a statement by now saying something along the lines of "Guys, thank you for the support for my work, unfortunately even if I wanted to, my version of the film was never finished and cannot be finished, the version you saw in theaters is the final and only cut."

The fact that he has been silent all this time and sending these teases out and #releasethesnydercut movement only getting louder and louder and drawing support from everyone involved with the production AND Junkie's teasing tweet (trust me, Junkie knew full well what conclusion people were going to jump to) leads me to believe SOMETHING special is coming.

It may not be the full version Snyder intended but if we can even get an 70-80% close enough approxination of the cut Snyder wanted to release I'd be satisified. The main things I want:

1) All of Cavill's scenes restored, especially "the ring" bit.
2) The film's original cinematic look as Snyder intended it restored.
3) As much of Junkie's music as possible edited into the film.
4) The character backstories restored, especiay Arthur's
5) Last but not least, Steppenwolf's original defeat along with Darkseid tease.

At first i thought that Zack's Vero posts of JL movie stills was his way of gathering enough fan support to get his Cut released, but now I think it's more than that.

It would be really strange if nothing comes out of this, though given the way WB is behaving nowadays nothing can be ruled out.

By releasing the Snyder cut, it would basically be WB admitting they screwed up on the TC.
Will they be able to admit that? I don't know, but I hope so.

I dont think the studio cares what people think. Releasing an alternate version of the movie could only mean milking the movie for more money so that they can break even on it and it'd undoubtedly win back a lot of goodwill. There is no downside to releasing it.
