*scrolls through thread only to see another generic 'Snyder rules/sucks' argument*

I liked Snyder ok enough but he wouldn't have been my first choice for MoS.
After I saw Mos, I liked it just fine, I had a few problems with it, namely the shaky cam, editing. Overall, I thought it was a good starting point for the DCEU.

I wouldn't have brought Snyder back for BvS, but that's just me. I don't know what happened with it, but if I had to guess, I'd say studio interference played a big part in it being lackluster. Snyder isn't innocent either in the blame. maybe 60% blame on WB, 40% on Snyder.
Still, I had hoped WB had learned a lesson after BvS and JL would be what we all hoped it would be.
No need to rehash what we know happened during and after.

The thing with Snyder is, you KNOW what you are getting when you hire him. He isn't gonna suddenly turn into a Spielberg, howard or Jackson. you get what you pay for. He makes his films his way and style.

Snyder had no plans on introducing Batman until the third movie. That's the sad the studio forced Batman Snyder. Wonder Woman on the other hand and the rest of the heroes was all him once he had to do that.

Even though I'm not a BvS fan at all, I would have been genuinely curious to see what Synder's MOS2 would have looked like.

I think Snyder was leaning towards Metallo as the main villain for MoS2. He mentioned how he didn't want to do another alien invasion style and wanted to build to Brainiac.

Justice League was rated higher by critics and viewers, just get over it people. If you were able to enjoy it despite it sucking, good for you, but let's stop pretending it was good by any stretch.

As for Justice League, I watched it in theatres and just saw it again a couple days ago. I enjoyed it the first time almost only because Superman was finally done right. The second time I enjoyed the movie even more. It's still a second-rate Avengers with some obvious flaws but it's got some fun and actual Superman in it (not to mention a Batman who's not a murderous maniac). And here's a twist, the heroes actually take the time to save some people.
And as I'm sure many people have said before, that part where Superman looks back at Flash over his shoulder is the best part of the movie (that whole scene is great though)

I sometimes wonder what would have happened if instead of Whedon we got someone like Peter Jackson to do the reshoots and stuff. I think Jackson would've made a more visually and tonal consistent feel to Snyder's film and still be able to inject his own epic flavor to it. Jackson probably would have insisted that the movie be delayed though.

... said as if taste was objective.

Fair enough, there are people who like the Spider-Man 3 too

You sarcastically say this as if it somehow supports your argument.

I've asked you before to back up your claim that a movie can be objectively good or bad, but you haven't.

Passing off personal or popular opinion as objective is a fallacy.

Doesn't BVS have a positive audience score on RT? And a positive Cinemascore? It's even dumber than appealing to the majority opinion as if it's objectively right. It's appealing to the opinion of 300 or so critics who happen to be certified to share their review on a specific website.
