LOL, I'm dying here
I respect all of this, but keeping it 100, If this was the Fast n Furious type family, he'd be Judas.
Mostly just joking about everything. What a goddamn wild rollercoaster this has been.
Not me brother. When Ben Affleck was a deer in the headlights starring off into outer space, it was Henry carrying the weight of the press tours. When Ben was all "Goddammit all I hear is Batman, Batman, Batman.." and getting annoyed with the character, Henry was talking about how badly he wanted to continue the character and still talks publicly about his love for Superman, the comics and his mythology. I'll always love him for that. Christopher Reeve is penned in as every man's Superman. Henry is mine.
Nah. Affleck had a mental health issue and his previous fame and fortune as factors. Cavill wasn't being gracious or passionate. He's a mixture of desperate and greedy.
I resisted commenting on that earlier but I agree. They are hardly at the same point in their career. Ben has gone through this whole media frenzy, movie backlash etc. Henry has had one breakout role, two if you count Fallout. Let’s talk when he’s had several big movies under his belt.
Yes because we know Henry Cavill didn't have any pressure on his shoulders.
Well at least one of Bat and Sup held up the interviews, would have been worse when both Batman and Superman stared blank at the interviewer lol
We all know how blogs would have eaten that up.
Which is what? The point went right over your head. Not uncommon to say the least.
to be honest I would have reacted like Ben if my grade was 27% lol

well if there was a gun to my head and someone told me to pick one element that came close to resembling something good, its AffleckCalling his performance a "shining light" is a bit of a stretch but whatever.
Cavill was the unproven commodity of the two still hoping to solidify his star status, so of course he was gonna toe the company line and put on a happy face in all public junctures.
whereas Ben was the established name who's been through it all. Coming back to the genre after Daredevil was a big risk after finally that career redemption tour of his. To receive that overall reaction, despite his performance being one of the shining lights of the film, makes his visible disappointment kinda understandable.
I won't go as far as to say that henry is greedy or cowardly for not coming out and supporting snyder because he was put in a really difficult spot. The rest of the cast putting out their support is great, but I can understand why he wouldn't. Jason and Gal are cash cows and WB isn't gonna punish them. For all we know, Ray Fisher is never playing cyborg again and really grew close to snyder, so of course he's gonna support his friend. Ezra, I don't even know anymore with that dude. But Henry is probably still holding out hope that they'll go back to the negotiation table and I could see him wanting to tread lightly/not want to rock the boat.

I think a good way to look at it is that all the non-toxic Snyder fans as well as people who are associated with the movie as well as people who just genuinely want to see would get to see it, which is a much larger group, imo, than just those toxic portion of the Snyder cult fandom, get to see the movie. There are a lot of people on this site who want to see it who are not toxic fans, for example.
