Some things never change. BTDubz, Snyder has probably set up his production shigle at Netflix starting with this project so he's basically done with WB.
It's time for Snyder to release his inner Paul W.S. Anderson.Probably doesn't have to worry about amount of violence, blood on the screen, length time, bad words, etc.
It's probably best thing for him, I don't think Snyder wants to go through the experience of meddling in his projects by WB execs again. Netflix offers him the creative freedom.Yeah, I'm thinking theres some bad blood between him and some WB brass. Netflix is working with some of the best filmmakers in the world right now...and Michael Bay.

Though I wouldn't rule out him returning to do some movie at WB again, after a few years, maybe after the top management is changed. Snyder is still Executive Producer for Flash and Producer for Wonder Woman 1984.

Oh YES.Oh no.
I can't speak for Zack, but if I were him, I'd never do a big IP ever again. I think he'd be much happier doing either his own scripts or original stuff similar to this movie's price range.
Agreed.LOL @ some of the comments...
Snyder has really grown as a filmmaker with MOS and BVS (UE), so I'm looking forward to what he'll do with this one.
Yeah, 300 was profitable for WB.The top brass at WB won't change for a while. Kevin Tsujihara screwed up with DC properties but he has had record breaking success with all the other movies. While Emmerich is there for the long haul. The studio's revenue and operating income shows a healthy growth at the end of every fiscal year so the AT&T management is very likely to be satisfied with the current regime at the WB movie division.
But we can't rule out that he won't comeback one day. I mean dude directed 300 which happens to be among the upper echelons of WB's most profitable movies ever. Seriously, the theatrical and HV profits from 300 can curb stomp on pretty much any post 2012 movie from WB. Zack earned a lot of goodwill among the WB execs after 300. I think that's one of the big reasons why WB kept him on the DC projects. They probably hoped that he'll replicate the 300 success once again but it never materialized.
Well, some of his well received movies with RT scores are -It's just gotta be the right IP. Snyder's bread and butter is self-aware over the top, R-rated violence and badassery. I think it's fair to say that he wasn't able to smoothly transition into a 4-quandrant mainstream director. But there's definitely still an audience for the type of thing he delivers, it just has to be the right context for it.
I preferred 30 Rock's rendition.I'll still defend Owls of Ga'Hoole... that sh** is underrated.
Snyder says there are no handcuffs on him this time. I wonder what that means for the film.
