Snyder & WB Making Army of the Dead!

I think this will be very good.
I am probably the only one here who favors the newer zombie films over the classic ones.

Nope, that makes two of us ....

It took me so long to watch the Dawn remake because in general I don't really get much out of the classic Zombie movies. But channel 4 here in the UK had a very cool TV Ad running for a few days before it was played and it sparked my interest.

Was very impressed.

Well, unless you have seen it yourself, you can't really say if a movie is good or not...it was a strange comment I must admit. Just because a lot of people liked it doesn't mean you will, or that it's nessecarily good because of it.

I also prefer the newer zombie movies (28 Days Later and Dawn) over the classics, though I love and respect the classics too.

I honestly could care less about watchmen, bring me this now:cmad:

Van Heijningen Directing Army of the Dead
Source: Variety
June 4, 2008

Warner Bros. has signed commercial director and visual artist Matthijs van Heijningen to make his feature directing debut on Army of the Dead, an action thriller that takes place in zombie-infested Las Vegas.

Variety says the studio will co-finance the film with Village Roadshow Pictures. Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder produce under their WB-based Cruel & Unusual Films.

The script by Joby Harold (writer and director of Awake) focuses on a father who tries to save his daughter from certain death in a zombie-ridden Sin City.

Since it has zombies. I'll see it. I don't need any other reasons. I freaking LOVE zombie films :)

I hope to god the script is better than the DotD remake Snyder did, and that the zombies don't run.
