Both MITB matches sound uber-lame without Ziggler or Barrett involved.

I would have found it a lot better if they still did just one briefcase. That way you wouldn't know who it would be cashed in on. But knowing the WWE, they won't even remember which champion belongs to which show.

They said Rhodes had filed a complaint over the fact he never actually lost his qualifying match. I think he'll get a shot at singles match qualification next week and end up in the match.

Huh, I wonder if a few friends of mine are at that Extreme Rising show Shane Douglas is holding in my area tonight?

And oddly enough, there is a movie called Wrestler vs Zombie being made. I am... saddened by that note, seeing Douglas and Sylvester Terkay are in it.

Hopefully Shane's not holding his latest potential clusterf*** in his Targets parking lot after work. You guys deserve better.

That's not The Rock's fault. Channing Tatum is practically an A-Lister now so they had no choice, but to bring him back. Not the best actor, but his drawing power and work ethnic cannot be denied.

GI Joe behind held back had just as much to do with the studio not being confident in their product during fierce summer competition as it with anything else. If Rock was as big a star as you SAY he is Tatum's level of involvement would be a non issue. Rock would be more than enough to draw huge at the box office and ease any concerns they had. Clearly he wasn't.

Practically an A lister? Your standard of A lister must be pretty f***ing low. Didn't realize Tatum was "practically" on the level of a Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise or Robert Downey Jr.

Cena was popular AND reliable. And its rarely every ONLY about what the people want but who management and the other talent see something in. Hogan didn't get handed the top spot ONLY because the people wanted him. Austin was one of the few who was truly pushed on Vince by the people alone.

Cena was also hungrier than almost anyone else. If he didn't have the fire in him to work hard for the top spot Vince wouldn't have kept him in it long. The guy is more dedicated than most.

I actually agree with that. one of the great parts about MITB years ago was you didn't know who they would cash in on. two cases decreases that mystery factor.

Except Tatum hasn't DONE a ton of movies that have been huge hits. And he certainly hasn't been the sole star in all the ones that were.

His chick flicks do well because they are MODESTLY BUDGETED. They are also aimed at a certain demographic.

GI Joe was at best a modest success. One of his biggest hits was 21 Jump Street. The Eagle and Haywire both BOMBED.

Now are you are going to pull put Tatums box office track record of huge hits over the course of the last five years that appealed to a wider audience?

Legitimate A list box office draws can pull in ALL demographics at high levels. Will Smiths an A lister. He's got a track record of more than a handful of huge hits to point to.

Tatum has grown in popularity this year. He's not quite A List yet though. His popularity though is misguided.

His acting is starting to improve and it's been a bankable year. I think he could work his way up there but Pitt , Cruise , and RDJ showed more promise in their early years.

Unlike some that I've seen say they'd like to see Sandow win MITB, I really hope he doesn't. It's almost the exact same situation for what happened with Del Rio if he would win. Guy coming in with a lot of promise pushed to the top way too soon without building up credibility in the mid card scene.

That would be awful. The first step should be towards the Intercontinental championship. I also hope this years MITB winners don't get jobbed out for months only to surprise us late in the year.

The Target here in Queens has too high a highering standard to higher Shane Douglas. Plus Best Buy would never lower themselves to having a wrestling ring set up in their parking lot.

Tatum has stated in interviews that he hasn't been contacted about re-shoots. That could be a cover-up but nothing with his character has been confirmed. The studio wants us to believe it has to do with 3d conversion.
