Zombieland Is Open For Business.

This movie kinda looks like an american version of Shaun of the Dead.

This seems alot different to me than Shaun of the Dead . There are some similarities but I know I won't be sitting through the same movie.

This looks AWESOME. Not to mention Emma Stone being in it.

Opening day, I reckon.

Saw the trailer attached to District 9, looks very fun and enjoyable, I'll definitely see this in the theaters.

Saw the movie tonight at an advance screening, and to be honest, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. There are parts I thought were funny but overall I felt it was really missing something, what that was, I don't know. The constant reinforming of these 'rules' the main character had for himself was a little much, especially each time with them being literally spelled out on the screen.

Parts I liked
Bill Murray's cameo scene. Even though I didn't pay anthing, the price of admition is worth this part alone. Amazing, amazing scene.

Towards the end, Tahalhasee (screw spelling) locks himself in this carnival cage type booth and is shooting the zombies from inside.

ZOMBIE CLOWN.

Zombie gore was great and opening slow-mo credits were well done, but just felt mediocore.

6/10

Does anyone think this movie will do decent numbers at the box office? It's going up against Whip It and The Invention of Lying, as well as the 3D re-release of the first two Toy Story Movies.

It has plenty of buzz.

So did Jennifer's Body and that looks like it's going to tank. Luckily, most of the reviews I've read online about this movie are positive.

I think it will post good numbers, depending on the budget (which I don't think is high because this movie was shot earlier this year).

This looks entertaining. That never did. Whenever it would get mentioned around work people would just eye-roll, people sound like they're looking forward to this.

Even though the Shaun of the Dead comparison is obvious the trailer made me think more of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. That zombie kill of the week just screamed Hitchikers to me

Zombieland has a better trailer than Jennifers body

I'm curious to what the box office expectations will be.

I'm sure the studio has to be a bit worried. None of these actors have proven able to open a movie and the two recent horror entries haven't done well.

I'm not too eager to go see that movie.
From what I've seen, it doesn't look scary or funny enough, but I might be wrong(since I haven't seen it:woot:).

The more tv spots I see, the more I think "Dead Rising"

Zombieland has a better trailer than Jennifers body

Jennifer's Body looks ridiculously stupid... not to mention I'm just getting sick of Megan Fox by now.

IMDB pretty much gave away the celebrity cameo.
