Zoolander 2 Is Coming

Hah... My buddy Ed has a friend that was at that show and he sent me a picture this morning about this. Honestly... Stiller has gotten too old for a lot of the film's he's done recently. I would rather he do something more along the lines of Walter Mitty (way under rated to my mind) or more dramas than stuff like a Zoolander sequel or more Museum films. Let your hair go gray Ben, write, direct... Stop it with the roles you've outgrown by over 15 years.

Sigh... I love that first film so much I'll probably go see this too, anyway.
Exactly what movies has he done recently where his age in any way is a factor? You're acting like he's as old as Clint Eastwood. Stiller is hardly "old" and looks great for his age.

Regardless, I would be VERY surprised if "the aging model" isn't used as a theme in the film, in which case makes his age important for the story.

They're old now. :(
i think

Just makes me sad that all my favorite movie stars are gettin to be old guys. Lol. Means I'm getting old too! :p

I really hope that's part of what the movie is about is that... these guys are too old to be modeling and they haven't accepted it yet. They're has beens and they don't even know it they're so dumb.

You'd think this would definitely be a plot point.

What's with Paramount doing sequels to movies pass their sell-by date? First Anchorman 2, and now Zoolander 2. It's bewildering to say the least.

A comedy sequel? I wonder if people will speculate about and complain about the sequel not being as good as the first one...despite the fact that the first wasn't all that good in the first place.

This movie is going to be ****ing horrible. Long time fans are going to hope it's great, and it'll just end up being in the same vein as Dumb and Dumberererer 2 or Grown Ups 2.
Not the best example since the first Grown Ups was awful. You should of used Anchorman 2 since that was a big letdown from the first.

The first Anchorman wasn't that great either. Some sporadically funny scenes, but its cult status bewilders me.

After seeing the paris fashion show clips and how Zoolander & co interacted with the fan and the selfie, i feel (and it is with great shame that i say it) that the way the majority live their life now, social media and vines and wanting to be a celebrity - Zoolander can be a huge success (as long as it is done correctly).

The material to work with now - youtube clips, fails, twitter, Facebook, instagram, reality TV , random people doing their own 'gags' the endless preppy rich kids asking for food, getting none, then asking for food from a hobo then giving him money as a reward for starring in their video (basically) is getting so popular right now and something two ageing models would use to no end and therefor the connection and pop culture is really relevant. People will be able to see themselves, or someone they know for sure.

You can picture Derek producing his own crude videos with an iPhone, uploading it to Facebook/twitter and just waiting for the likes and celebrating when it went past 100.

It's funny as initially i thought a sequel wouldn't work, as times had changed and it would look a parody, but after the fashion show i was just like.... yes!!

That was pretty damn funny. Love the original, it's one of my family's favorite movies, and while I've got a feeling that this'll disappoint a lot of people, I'm still optimistic.

Anchorman is a top 5 comedy.

I have a feeling this will be like Anchorman 2, but goddamn if that trailer didn't crack me up.

YES TO THIS MOVIE. I'm already there.

the whole thing with the name of the movie at the end had me on the floor and having 'Hawking' call Zoolander so freaking stupid it's insane was awesome.

I'll admit, the trailer was funny. But I'm not going to get my hopes up considering that comedy sequels rarely live up to the original.

The trailer popped up when I watched MI5, and it got huge laughs from everyone in the theatre. I'm excited :)

Slighly OT, but when I saw Ant Man with my mom, during the part where Darren Cross is showing a model of the proposed HQ for Cross Enterprises I believe, I whispered to her "What is this, a center for ANTS?!" and she totally cracked up.

The teaser got some laughs at my screening of Rogue Nation.
