Zoolander 2 Is Coming

As i previously said, the world now seems so intent on selfies, 15 minutes of fame, social media, that someone like zoolander would hang on to every ounce of celebrity, doing anything to prolong it, it would be relevant as it would remind us of so many pointless Facebook statuses we read, or arrogant self indulgent twitter posts or self righteous videos/memes. It's the perfect time for Derek.

I liked him in 'There's something about mary' and 'tropic thunder' also 'along came polly' i do like his humour, generally, but a lot of films like 'the heartbreak kid' and 'night at the museum' don't appeal to me.

But it was funny as hell

That being said I do have to wonder how Mugatu factors into this sequel? Because didn't Mugatu get arrested like near the end of Zoolander 1 at the fashion show when he was taken down by the security guards after he tried to kill the Prime Minister of Malaysia? So if Mugatu is in prison I wonder how he gets out of prison?

I am sure we will see Todd, Mugatu's assistant but Katinka it would be awesome if we see her

As for Pop Zoolander, Jon Voight his character I do have to wonder if he will somehow make an appearance because we all know Billy Zane he will show up

But Hansel he's so hot right now, Hansel, I do have to wonder if he will get a love interest much like Derek did?

As for Matilda I do have to wonder if her and Derek are still married in Zoolander 2 or if they're divorced? But as for Derek's teenage son Derek Jr I do have to wonder if he will follow in his father's footsteps by becoming a male model?

I wasn't too happy with Stiller going back to this, as much as I liked the first Zoolander but... Trailer has sold me.

Yeah this trailer sold me. Hopefully this won't be an Anchorman 2 but it's addressing stuff I was hoping this would i.e. them being older models now but they seem to be capturing the same spirit as the first one.

I'll only say this once. Thank God I saw a selfie stick being used.

The trailer wasn't too heavy with the "Spot the cameo" gag. Save it for the movie

Ben looks fantastic. He's a really funny guy irl and the instant I saw him in the trailer I thought to myself how I could imagine him being casted in a Wes Anderson film or something. And just carry a film like Ralph Fiennes did in Grand Budapest. Ben gets crap for looking horsefaced but without his eyebrows and is very androgynous look, he looks so alien.

Great cameo. I didn't even know he was going to be in this, it gonna be as big as a role as Tom Cruise's was in Tropic Thunder? Thought he was just gonna appear in one scene.
