DC Animation ‘Batman: Caped Crusader’: Animated Series From Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves Greenlit

Perhaps Comic-Con?!

That would be only two weeks before the premiere. It seems to me like a pretty late start for what is essentially a first marketing move (except for the fans, no one knows this show is coming).
With the episodes being all dropped at once, I think it would be wise to start marketing earlier because after the release date, there won't be much to carry the buzz from week to week like X-Men '97 and its broadcast format could.

Really, now just seems like the ideal time to kick things off. That presentation at Annecy animation festival is the perfect starting point...

Well, Amazon dropped the full opening title sequence for the new season of Vox Machina which premieres on October 3rd.

Asking for a sliver of footage from a show that is a month and a half away would not be a massive request.

The trailer for Watchmen has just dropped, and the film is due to be released later than Caped Crusader...
Come on now...

I think it's only a matter of time before we get the trailer

Batman: Caped Crusader is coming to prime video later this year. The series is a full-period piece set in the 1940s. We were shown the cold open where Clarence was getting questioned about Rupert Thorne by Eddie, then The Penguin entered the room and it was cut to the noir title sequence before it got violent. The director of the title sequence was Christina Sotta.

After Midnight Mass, I’m a Linklater stan, so I’m definitely intrigued. I just hope his voice on the show is a little less Archer-y than it sounded in that announcement.
