10.11 - Icarus - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

KE 8, I really don't see that episode as being as strong as she thought. It was good, but there were missed opportunities. There were so many that episode really could have been so much better than it was.

Mileage really does vary when talking about how people feel about episodes.

I wouldn't go that far about Icarus being the best episode because it's nowhere near the league of Homecoming.

I agree, But still Icarus was a good episode even if the cliffhanger towards the end wasn't clear I can't wait to see the explanation in Collateral.

CW: I loved that proposal scene. Whose idea was it?
BP: Well, we wanted to go with something which is very quintessential and simple because before when we've done proposals they have been huge and sci-fi and we felt like this really needed to be a moment that anybody could relate to. What was fun about it was that Lois is the most difficult person in the world to propose to, so we decided to have Superman actually catching her in a moment that is quintessentially Lois Lane.
