I was a SR supporter right from he beginning. Now it feels so good watching these clips and knowing I was right all the time!!!


At the end of the "Lois, Come With Me" clip I was crying like a little girl. Thank God I'm all alone here...

It brought back so many childhood memories...when I saw the shirt rip, I couldn't help myself anymore.

That line reminded me of when Lois told Supes that Clark said he was like Peter Pan....and Supes replied, "Peter Pan is a fairy tale, Lois." Was that S:TM? Can't remember.

Now, as an aside, to all those who are getting upset about people not sharing your enthusiasm (i.e. people you refer to as haters). At the end of the day, its their opinion, and you have to respect that. One of the most painful lessons in life is when you realise that not everyone can like who/what you like, and vice versa. If that were the case, then the world would be a very dull place. At the end of the day, if you like the movie, does it matter what other people think?

Yep. That is right. EVeryone has their own opinion. If we all shared the same opinion on everything, nothing new would be done and this would be a very boring planet to live on. And I am sure there are movies, or parts of movies, that you hate that someone who does not like what they see in this movie loves. I can tell you right now, I love "Ford Fairlane" and I Know most people hate that movie and find no redeeming quality in it whats so ever. I have no problem with that. People have their right to their own opinion and to share it.

People liking what they saw. People not liking what they saw. People acting like each clip is the second coming of christ. People taking issues with things they saw in the clips they didnt like. People taking hits on each other for pointing out things they didnt like. People not being able to accept others not liking things. Rude comments back and forth. Stupid "owned" pics. Me not liking the suit...still! Damn me to hell! Me still not knowing how he is fitting those large boots into his small shoes as Clark Kent. How is he doing that and not looking like he is ready to go water skiing? I know. I am a bastard! I am going to Hell in a handbasket! (though if I am going to Hell, I would rather go in the Batman 89 Batmobile) I know. Gas Prices still to F'n high. No cure for aids. A lot of people around the world died since this post started. Hey don't you be stealing stupid remarks someone made to my post about the S shield not being 3D in the comics from 43 to the 90's. If you ask me, his problem was he is just mad the ladies all say he is hung like an elevator button. Well that is what I heard! And just for your info, no I do not have a tube going from my backside to my mouth. If I did, I would be working at the meat making plant for McDonalds shooting out what they call "meat patties". GAHHH!

and just for the record. The only issue I have ever had with the film is the suit, Ottman doing the score instead of Williams, and whats her name as Lois Lane. She proved me wrong from the clisp I am seeing so scratch that off my list. I still hate the suit, and all the problems that go with concealing it. I still dont like the Ottman composed parts of the score I am hearing. And some of the CGI I am seeing I don't like, but it could be a non issue and just due to quicktime, and windows compression. Other than that, I have always maintained I liked everything else I saw. And I have always been a Routh supporter, I just dont like the hair style they gave him. But to my dying day, I will always see Reeve as the Superman. It think Routh said that Reeve was his Superman too, so even though he is playing the character, he thinks the same way I do on that.

Routh's version of Metropolis Clark Kent seems WAAY different from Reeve. Reeve was over-the-top goofy and lame (spoke really fast too), Routh seems calm, quiet, relaxed and shy... thats really the best way to play Metropolis Clark.

Very impressed.

i agree that Rouths version is better but i would disagree that reeves did not play a good clarke kent.

In my opinion, Spielberg hasn`t made a great movie since Saving Private Ryan....War of the Worlds was a pice of ****! Singer on the other hand has made X-men 2 and now Superman Returns.

Thanks for acknowledging that man. I have been vehemntly attacked because I don't like something about this movie. I loe everything except the suit and the ottman written music that isnt Williams that I heard so far. Other than that, I like what I see but I have een vehementlyattacked jsut because I dont like something and post my opinion. Some guys just get down right nasty.

Hell last wek I was called a liar about an incident where I showed my friend and a guy at a tower records the suit and what their reactions were. I was called a liar. The guy I showed it to came to my office for something. I showed him it. He told me to give the guy his email and his cell phone number to confirm it and I was then called nuts because I did that. Guy never even called to confirm what I was saying. I mean it has bordered on insanity here if you dont post you absolutely love everything about this movie.

Last year when I heard they were using williams score but Ottman was doing it, all I posted was "If they are using Williams score, how come they arent getting Williams. He loves that score, and has even written songs for courage for Superman 4, a score he didnt do. So he obviously loves it and why dont they just get him to do it." And some guy from Englad just atarted yelling at me that I was this and that. And everytime I tried to reason with the guy and say "I just said I dont see why they dont get Williams to update his own score" The guy called my mother things. I appearantly had a tube going from my butt to my mouth.

So thanks for seeing this phenomenon and acknowledging it.

I think I just had a seizure. (No offense to ppl who have seizures.) I'm too lazy to look but did any one notice in the "Lois, come with me." clip when she said, "I forgot how warm you are." I'm guessing that's from his metabolizing yellow sunlight. Sorry, I'm a geek for little touches like that.

Well I know I am not a Nazi. And I am sure you aren't a Nazi. If you were you would have a rice bowl hair cut, stupid beard, and walking like you took a dump in yoour drawers and let it cake up for a few days (Hitler did have a funny walk). In fact, I havent seen a baby Hitler here yet.

But yeah it sucks. We are going to take hell. Want to see a predicition I know will come true. Every suit lover will be attacking me for the stuff I said about the suit the day of or after opening just because. Even though I know people will be goofing on it (seen it in one of the showings recently where the preview was played). I also asked the guy at the concession stand at LLoyd Center Cinemas when I went to see Mission Impossible 3 if the preview was with the film. he said no. I said "What do you think of the suit?" and he cracked up and called it the band word, but using another phrase, and the guy next to him getting a soda for a customer agreed. But if nothing is written about it, I will get majorly attacked for it. There will be a thread dedicated to it. I already had a "We hate buggs" thread here last year so I am totally ready for it. Got my toilet plunger, trash can lid, and hip boots ready for the day.

I know dude. I am joking. I laugh at the stuff said about me here except for being called a liar. And that is just because where I come from, calling someone a liar is a very serious thing. You either back it up, or be prepared to eat your teeth. But it is the internet. I will never meet any of these people cracking wise on me. And who cares. In the grand scheme of things it is a small thing. rigth now someone is getting their head blown off or cut off in Iraq. Someone is being told by their doctor they are going to die. That is real life. This isnt. But I will probably inadvertently run into fatboy someplace and not know it as we live in the same town. I could of ran into him at one oc the clubs I was a bouncer at from 1989 to 1995. I could have passed by him looking for a seat at the Rose Parade two Saturday's ago. Who knows?
