yeah, it's a nice nod to and simultaneous send-up of the "disguise."

Don't you love when something serves two purposes?

Even barrel head made me laugh for a moment.

CAPTAIN KIRK RETURNS!!!!!!:D What a treat! After being away for nearly three weeks with no contact with the Hype; what do I get when I return? SR clips! I have always been a supporter of this film, but even I was blown away by the quality of the clips. Routh was totally awesome as both Superman and Clark, and finally there is a difference between the two again! Spacey's Lex is going to be amazing. It looks like Routh will actually hold his own against Spacey's performance. I predict that Routh will steal the show, much like Chris Reeve did back in '78. Bosworth's Lois was wonderful ,and if I was Superman I'd be heartbroken over losing someone like her too!:( The look of the film is stunningly beautiful, nad along with Ottman's inspired score this film will be a masterpiece!:supes:

Barrelhead was the best bit.

Those clips were beautiful.

Routh as Superman was such a contrast to CK. It seems so much more believeable.

Singer seems to be the only director to ever make the disguise/identity thing work in a movie and Routh's acting sold it for me.

Lois and Richard are really cool.

Lex seems pretty awesome; like a fusion of postcrisis and precrisis.

Jimmy may be one of my favorites, the comedic timing in that CK scene was hilarious.

The Martha/Clark scene was touching and reminded me of Peter Parker and Aunt May; thats the kind of character relationship Ma Kent and Clark should have.

Routh's version of Metropolis Clark Kent seems WAAY different from Reeve. Reeve was over-the-top goofy and lame (spoke really fast too), Routh seems calm, quiet, relaxed and shy... thats really the best way to play Metropolis Clark.

Very impressed.

I agree completely!

The old films were good and they are classics, but I think this will be far better and not as cheesy. Almost everything in S:TM was said in a "wink-wink, nudge-nudge" fashion. I want some real dramatic performances not tongue in cheek.

^ Dude Kane, i thought you were banned? What happened?

It's best we just move on from here. The past is the past.

The future (thanks to SR) looks pretty bright for this forum. I needed to be here to see this thing run its course.

Something else I forgot to mention is Jason. That box scene actually cracked me up. I cant imagine a 4-5 year old behaving any differently.

I tried to picture that whole scene without Jason and the box, and it wasnt as interesting. He adds a whole familial element of dysfunction to this love triangle.

Weve seen love triangles done before in superhero films to the point where it gets cliche, but this is a whole new and unique situation; its certainly got my interest to see how it plays out.

I agree about that scene with Jason..and I also have to say I know I haven't seen the movie yet but from the novel and the clips with him in them.....I really like Richard White.

You know it is actually nice to be warming up / getting used to the whole Kid thing now that we have seen some stuff. With all the stuff that has been said about this Movie & the Kid for the most part Singer will be getting the last laugh

Ya he adds the 'cool' element to the cast. An outsider to the normal superman family and friends who almost critiques their relationships from an outsider point of view (like how he was trying to come to the conclusion that Clark was Superman).

I think that is what the goal of the writers was, not only to have the audience lik Richard but for Superman to as well.

That does not even work like almost all of the time
Actually it does...the extremely large font does little else but antagonise others....try to refrain from that in the future please.

Maybe this Movie is Singers apology for the small roles James got in X-Men & X-Men 2 lol

I'm really having trouble watching these. Are you all having the same problems ?

A few pages back, Robo posted direct download links.

I have to say I think it would be cool to see Richard become friends with both Clark & Superman in the sequels...of course Singer could pull a fast one on us and Richard could turn out to be a bad guy..but at this point I don't see that happening. Man I can't wait for the 27th.

Hey I can't go into the LINK!

I watched it at work but no sound.

I come home and nothing.

What is going on?
