Anyways these girls were all 14 years old, so now I'm positive that if it had been three 14 year old boys they'd of been tried as adults.

This society is deliriously messed up and ass backwards, there is such double standards when females commit sex crimes.

Just think back to Mary Kay Letourneau, sure she did 7 years in jail, but if it had been a male teacher he'd still be rotting away and for good.

That's how bullies (among the same gender) have gotten away too, particularly in schools or military barracks. Their behavior has just been dismissed as "harmless horseplay" and that "boys will be boys." So a man in the military could be buggered by his fellow officers and they would just dismiss it as being a pain in the ass.

It's my sexist perspective of the world at work. Besides, I don't think it would ever even occur to a trio of 14 year old guys to assault and strip an 11 year old gal in broad daylight for no reason other than fun and fame.

The hard charges won't stick with these girls because we're hardwired to see genders a certain way, but to label this a "prank" and let them slide would be insane; Especially when they were dumb enough to broadcast evidence.

So these girls are as sexually charged as they are ever going to be. 11 year old boys are actually smaller than 11 year old girls, so a 14 year old girl who is nearly completely physically mature could easily dominate a boy his age. Of course he's not happy about it, and it's hard to make any kind of assesment about this without knowing the kid personally. I'm only guessing that the reason it's not gone further is because the kid is shy, embarrassed and just wants it all to go away.

I think it's wrong, I think the girls should be severely punished and it shouldn't be up to the mother whether they are charged when there is video evidence for all to see that this happened. Take it out of the families hands, and then no one can blame the kid in the school yard for kicking up a fuss.

People keep calling it a prank gone wrong... which is nonsense, because it's only a prank gone wrong if your later ashamed of what you did. These girls, quite obviously, are not, or they would not have put it up on youtube. They are showcasing it as a triumph, as something that they obviously had NO fear of reprisal for, and THAT is why this NEEDS to be punished.
