Well this is basically a Video containing Clips from EVERYTHING Superman Related

Smallville
The Christopher Reeve Movies
Lois & Clark
The Animated Series

& a few others here & there

I think you all might enjoy this

:up:

This Video was basically Edited by WB to Promote Superman Related DVDs

That's really a sweet video. So awesome to see Tom flying in there along with all the rest of the historical Supermen. :up:

For a while I was wondering what this was all about and why there was no new footage from the new movie spliced in, but ya it was to pimp the sales of the DVDs: Superman 1-4, Superman TAS, Adventures of Superman, Smallville, Lois and Clark.

I didnt see Kirk Alyn's Superman in there....but that may be since theres no DVDs of his stuff coming out?

And most likely no surviving footage. Nor do the general public know him. But yeah it was sweet. Almost teared up. But really welling looked so out of place as a "young Clark". I mean it looks like he could put on the suit himself. But yeah it was sweet.

Um Welling was there since Smallville DVDs are part of the stuff they are trying to pimp with that Ad; Therefore he wasnt out of place.

The Kirk Alyn-era stuff is coming at the end of the year... check out the quarterly outline.

(Ruby Spears, however, that's another matter...)

You guys and gals have a fun year ahead of ya...

:cool:

I swear seeing SV mixed with Lois and Clark I think SV would have been the perfect cannon for that show. I mean they are already so much alike that if they didn't bring Lois on to the show I think it would have been a great cannon and I love how they put SR in there as well.

Warner Home Video has released their 2006 schedule for Superman related DVD releases in 2006.

* Superboy Season 1
* Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman Season 3
* Superman: The Animated Series Vol. 3
* Justice League Season 2
* Superman: Brainiac Attacks Original Animated Movie

April-June releases:

* Krypto the Superdog Vol. 1

Third Quarter 2006 release (possibly September):

October-December releases:

* Classic Superman Movie Serials (Kirk Alyn)
* The Adventures of Superman Season 5 & 6

* Special Editions of all of the Superman movie series, including the "Donner Cut" of Superman II
* Supergirl
* Justice League Unlimited Season 1
* Krypto the Superdog Vol. 2
* Superman Returns

So basically there lacing Superman up in 06 how they laced Batman up in 05. Good looks

To let people know though that Special Edition box set will have Superman Returns & Supergirl & the longer cut of Superman IV. But the good news is for those that don't those movies is that you can buy them with out having to buy the box set.

Actually if I remember correctly Supergirl is getting its own release & Superman 4 will not be getting a Longer Cut however it will have a KICK ASS Deleted Scenes Section & its Superman 2 thats getting the Special Treatment with the other cut

Sorry, gotta clarify some things:

Supergirl will not be in the boxset -- it'll be available separately around the same time...

Supes IV will include all deleted material found (and there's a lot), but unlikely to include a "new cut."

Supes I still deciding on cuts, but will include lots of deleted material as well...

Obligatory Smallville content:
Count on some super special-features for S5!

(sorry for the bad pun...)

But of course, this is the year of 'the many' Supermen...

:up:

I knew S IVwould be its OG cut but I thought Supergirl is going part of that 14 box set. Thats what they were saying Supergirl was going to be part of that set. There is suppose to be a re done 4 box set and then 14 box set.

That 14 box set sounds nice (if thats what it is) especially if all the films are Special Edition

It's a good thing too...Supergirl was just awful, awful, awful. Kind of like when you eat too many peeps.:(

Ya a Supergirl movie couldnt work on its own. The best way to reintroduce Kara is through one of the upcoming Superman films.

Really they are working on a new Supergirl movie. I think that if this movie is to fly though and restart her own movies they should have Superman in it for a guest role for if anything 15 min. Thats where I think Supergirl failed at the first time. Its cool to have Jimmy but they should have had Superman or at least Clark Kent instead of a poster of Superman which was still a nice moment but Reeve should have shown up in the movie.

That Supergirl remake is in development hell though. I heard random stuff like in 2003 Naomi Watts was gonna play Kara and other bizarre **** like that

is this superman animated movie (brainiac attacks)gonna be a brand new one,or just a three parter melded together on DVD???

COOOOOOL...i'll be getting that without a doubt,all things super i shall be getting!

I'm definitely looking forward to the animated releases - specifically Superman Vol. 3 and Justice League Season 2.

I may pick up the Braniac Attacks film. It looks like it takes place in the Timmverse, so I dunno.
