2006 - Year Of Superman

except this year instead of a great, epic movie you get a nice coaster set

Ok I'll agree to a certain degree SUPERMAN RETURNS wasn't as awesome or an epic movie like either BATMAN BEGINS Or THE SPIDER-MAN MOVIES {1 & 2}. But I still happen to enjoy it,and I'm still getting the dvd [and I can't wait for the sequel in 2009.] So even if you bash it endlessly it won't make a difference to me, because I liked the movie [and I can't wait to own it on dvd to add to the rest of my SUPERMAN dvd collection .] :super:

I can't wait to watch SUPERMAN II [The Donner Cut version] The way it was ment to be seen . :super:

I still dont get how you can watch the "Donner cut" of Superman II?

He never finished shooting what he wanted to shoot. Granted they replaced a lot of what he did in SII but there's still a good deal that never lensed so it's not like it's goiong to be a complete film of his making

makes sense, though I'm still wondering how they're gonna sync up that 25% of footage that Donner never shot that Lester did. There's got to be some holes

They might use Brando as a voiceover from the first movie. :cwink:

They don't need Brando what they are doing is using body doubles for Reeves to make everything match up. Thats all everything they needed they have but for FX for some parts they are using a body double.

My wallet and I will be fighting over this one here :(

Kal, with all due respect hon, there's two other forums for Superman Returns information over yonder. This thread should have been moved into the Super World forums; it really doesn't belong here. If folks want to know about SR box sets - or anything else SR related for that matter - there's a place for it. 'Sides, folks like these have made SV a memory. I'd venture a guess the reverse is true about SR for most users posting here, especially since S6 is less than a week away.

Yo, All-Star, practice what you preach. Take it to the SR forums. Thanks. :)
