I would still shag her rotten:o

The Gators better be ****ing ranked soon. They raped Vandy and have overall dominated so far this season. Pretty impressive for a group of freshmen.

Being a Gator fan, I agree. Though the main arguement against them being ranked before this was the majority of teams they played were chumps. And it's hard to dispute that.
Though they should definitely be in the top 25 after the ass-raping they put on #14 Vandy today. :o

They might have played a lot of chumps, but granted, 99% of any good team's first games are against chumps. Now that they're entering conference play, it's a lot tougher and they're showing up. Sure, losses to FSU and OSU aren't good, but how about raping the 14th ranked team and taking down most everyone else you've played in your conference?

They should be ranked. Tennessee, to me, is their biggest test. They beat them, then they're here to stay.

We'll see...

MSU is climbing up the top 10

RE: People in attendance to yesterday's game, from the Free Press:

SPOTTED: Dantonio and most of his assistant coaches, former MSU quarterback Drew Stanton, now with the Lions, and defensive lineman Clifton Ryan, now with the St. Louis Rams, were in the stands Sunday. Terrelle Pryor was not. Just thought we'd mention that.

No matter what, those ***** at the Freep always seem to mention Pryor. No offense J and rdh, I'll laugh my ass off if he doesn't commit to Ann Arbor. This whole state has been praising him.

I'm a College Basketball Junket, following it like a hawk. I guess my question is to everyone... how seriously do any of you take Memphis at being #1.

They are in one of the weakest Conference in the NCAA. Will that come back to bite them when they face more battle-tested team from much more tougher conferences or will they march on like "The Shark's Team" UNLV, who much like Memphis, had a few tough non-conference teams on it schedule, but a very weak conference that they ran through?

What says you...

wow Nova out? This is crazy. STEP IT UP SCOTTIE!

Go Gators.

I bet Donovan is glad he didn't leave for Kentucky or the Magic. As good as Basketball program as they are, he appears to have turned Florida into a national contender and power that will be there year in and year our.

I hope to God you're right. :o

Seriously though, Florida BB does seem to be in good hands with Billy the Kid. Even though I am a Magic fan, I'm happy he stayed at UF.

Florida won't be in the top 10 at all this year... maybe next.

yeah but top 20 with all the starters they lost is pretty impressive, if they stay top 20 and make the tourney they can probably win a few rounds.

Yeah, but once they hit one of the big boys, it's all over.

They may not do it this year, but wait a couple years, and they're going to dominate just like the crew from the past two years.

If it weren't for that blunder at Iowa, we'd be around 4th.

We'll see, they have two tough games against the Vols. Certainly if they win the first one that's coming up they have a shot.

I am a Memphis fan, just look at my sig, so if some disregard my comments because of that, fine.

It's not Memphis' fault that the rest of their Conference is weaker compared to the other conferences, though there are a few teams in the conference that are good.

However, Memphis has played a solid non-conference schedule, with 1 more game left on that (Tennessee). Our last game was against Gonzaga, and that wasn't an easy win. Before that, there was a win against Georgetown, Connecticut, Cincinnati, and Arizona.

Once conference play, including the conference playoff, ends, Memphis will face the real test in the tournament coming up in March. The same thing goes for the other 65 teams in the tournament. With 2 straight apperances in the Elite 8, if we make it that far or at least to the Final 4, then it will be another good year for Memphis.

I am rooting for Memphis as well. But, I see a huge weakness for them, and that is hitting crucial free throws at the end of a tight game. Teams will simply foul and put them on the charity stripe and they won't hit them. That will hurt them deeper into the tournament.
