Why the heck is Ole Miss ranked below Texas Tech

more losses.

UT is over rated and that is why OSU was so close in that game.

They moved up because they almost beat the number three team in the country and those other teams that moved down did not come close to winning.

and OU is good but just not elite.

And definitely not more overrated than OSU.

Tebow will not be a successful NFL QB but should come back and break all the NCAA records by playing another year and winninga another title.

Watch out for Notre Dame next year they will be MUCH better

I'll go first:
Gators 49 Sooners 14
My brother in law's House
Subs

Well I was Half right :woot: Seriously this reminded me of the Alabama game in that Oklahoma was alot better than I thought especially there D they stepped it up. I knew Florida would pull it out though when the games in doubt Tebow will take over and will his team to a win. Don't worry Tebow he stole your Heisman but you got sweet revenge~chomp~

Too coment on some stuff a few pages back the commentators were awful:csad: If I could turn off the audio without losing the game sounds I would have.

And Tebow is really good guy and example for people but they were sounding a bit worshipful which is just gonna make people hate him.

Also Tebow will be an NFL qb and a great on you'll see. I'm torn originally I wanted him to go to the NFL but if bradford goes he and harvin should stay and become the greats of college football.

You have far too many kind words for the Gators, especially after claiming to be a Hurricanes fan.

Most unnatural.

I know it sort of makes me sick to my stomach sometimes:D It's just that I have always lived in florida and if FSU and UF aren't playing against us them I'm rooting for them to win that way it means more when we beat them;)

It's the same for the NFL I'm a Bucs fan but I rooted for the dolphins to keep going and sadly they didn't.

Tebow will have a tough time being an NFL QB , should stay another year and break tons of NCAA records and put his stamp on the college game. Harvin will be great however. QUICK fast good hands IQ heart = great player.

I don't see Tebow going pro....he's all about that missionary stuff that he basically spent his childhood doing....

If he does go to the pros, I doubt he stays long. He's all about mission work.

He's said if they will have him he will go because that money could be put to good use doing missionary work.

I like Harvin I don't know if he should go first round he's always getting hurt. Do you think he'll be Rb or Reciever? I'm guessing teams should look at hime like the second coming of westbrook.

Yeah he is such a combo player. If he can bulk up even a little would be a good fit for a wild cat or just someone to distract with such speed, someone who you know is ultra fast can catch and can run. If i had to put him on a depth chart as a position i would probably go with RB but just because of how i would want to use him , could easily be put down as a WR

He will be an All-Purpose Back. Like Westbrook, like Reggie Bush. But the injuries will determine his placement in the draft.

Richard Sandomir, NY Times: "Having to pay attention to two or four shots at once, live, with a play about to begin, is needless. Sometimes, Fox lingered too long in a four-shot, almost missing going to a full-screen for the snap. One particular shot in the quadruple screens — of coaches’ signals from the Oklahoma sideline — would have been useful to dissect as a replay; but in a quarter-screen, it looked like the coaches were playing pat-a-cake.

Jerry Greene, Orlando Sentinel:
"Brennaman settled down after a shaky start. Davis was decent. But a "no-frills" performance for the network's last title game anytime soon. Nothing special, nothing awful. Nothing to be missed."

TBL: "Can someone please check Thom Brennaman’s identification? Seriously. We’d like to see his social security card and passport. We firmly believe he is in some way related to Mountain-Mover/QB Tim Tebow."

Mel Bracht, Oklahoma News: "Brennaman and his Fox cohorts went overboard in gushing about how great a man Tebow is off the field. His comments would have been more fitting on a feature story than a game broadcast."

Fanhouse: "What I do know is this: Brennaman was so far over the top in his pro-Tebow hyperbole on Thursday that the game became darn-near unwatchable unless the volume was off. Not only did Brennaman go on and on about what a remarkable man Tebow is, but he backed Tebow against Oklahoma cornerback Dominique Franks -- who said Tebow would be no better than the fourth-best QB in the Big 12 -- stating that was "probably the most ridiculous statement ever said."

Neil Best, Newsday: "Fox's Thom Brennaman often seems to be doing a clever parody of an old-time sportscaster, except that he's serious. His outing with analyst Charles Davis for Fox's third and final BCS Championship Game was particularly amusing, especially his over-the-top deification of Tim (Superman) Tebow. My favorite moment came late in the game, when - just as it seemed Brennaman and Davis were ready to bronze Tebow on the spot - the saintly quarterback was flagged for taunting an Oklahoma player with one of those Gator chomp motions."

Spencer Hall, Sporting News: "Assumptions one should not make about this game: 1) Bob Stoops always loses big bowl games. Untrue. By the record, he only loses 66% of them. 2) All Big 12 defenses are uniformly awful. Inaccurate. This proves only that the defenses Oklahoma faces are uniformly awful, which means all Big 12 defenses save Oklahoma, which kept Florida's offense in check for most of the game. 3) Fox puts on an incompetent broadcast. No. Incompetent doesn't cover how inept their clodfooted work on the BCS has been."

Tebow To Skip Senior Season

MIAMI (SP) -- Shortly after leading the Florida Gators to a national
championship with a 24-14 win over Oklahoma, junior quarterback Tim Tebow announced that he would skip his senior season and ascend
directly into heaven.

Tebow entered the press room to wild applause. A reporter for a 24-
hour cable sports network burst into tears when the 2007 Heisman
winner entered the room. Another threw a pair of boxer shorts on the
podium. Tebow smiled at the gesture and several sports reporters
fainted.

"Sorry I'm late," Tebow began. "There was a six-year-old boy with
cancer in row 54 and I had to make my way through the crowd to heal
him."

"I want to start by saying that playing quarterback for the University of Florida, winning two national championships, has been a great honor. There has been some speculation about my future and I want to clear that up right now," he continued. "Don't go, Tim!" a reporter shouted from the back of the room.
"After much consideration, I have decided to skip my senior season at the University of Florida and ascend directly into Heaven," Tebow announced. Upon making the announcement, Tebow was bathed in a blinding white light and vanished.

In response to the news, ESPN announced they will have a month-long tribute to Tebow. ESPN2 will now be known as ESPN-TEBOW and will feature Tebow highlights (including home videos of Tebow's childhood), re-airings of past interviews, Tebow-centric analysis by ESPN air personalities, a Tebow quiz show and a reality show to find the "most Tebow-like" person in America.
"He wasn't just the greatest player in college football history," said a college football writer at the press conference, tears streaming down his face. "He might have been the greatest person to ever walk on earth."
...

I think Tebow is Jesus' second coming.....and we are just missing all of the fun.

There is a legend....a legend that speaks of five lions that will come together to form the greatest warrior ever known, Voltron, Defender of the Universe...on Earth, he is known by another name....Tim Tebow....

Knowing ESPN they will want Tim Tebow to change his name to "Brett Favre the Second" so that they can continue to fulfill the dream to become ESPN Favre.

Tebow is returning for his senior season.

So, haters, be prepared for more Jesus comparisons.

And, Gators, get ready for a repeat. :)

We got off to a really rocky start. Ball control was a big factor. Once Nutt and company got Snead and McCluster to calm down, things came togeather. Still, I would love to have the Vandy and W.F. games back. Oh well.
I have high hopes for us next season, maybe even a trip to Hotlanta?, but even if we don't make it to there, as long as we can ink out another 8 or 9 win season, most O.M. fans will be happy.
Herbstriet has us as a preseason top 10 team next yr. Don't think I would go that far but we shall see.

The question is will Harvin and Spikes come back now? I think they should they have a great chance to repeat and go undefeated next year.

Are they losing anyone to senior status?

When do we make the 09 forum? I was gonna make it but then thought yall might designate someone to do it.
