Gators 09 schedule:
Sat Sep 5 Charleston Southern Gainesville, FL TBA --
Sat Sep 12 Troy Gainesville, FL TBA --
Sat Sep 19 Tennessee Gainesville, FL TBA --
Sat Sep 26 at Kentucky Lexington, KY TBA --
Sat Oct 10 at LSU Baton Rouge, LA TBA --
Sat Oct 17 Arkansas (HC) Gainesville, FL TBA --
Sat Oct 24 at Mississippi State Starkville, MS TBA --
Sat Oct 31 Georgia Jacksonville, FL TBA --
Sat Nov 7 Vanderbilt Gainesville, FL TBA --
Sat Nov 14 at South Carolina Columbia, SC TBA --
Sat Nov 21 Florida International Gainesville, FL TBA --
Sat Nov 28 Florida State Gainesville, FL TBA

Hardest games will probably be Tennessee, South Carolina, and FSU. If they start the Season #1 (which they should) and go undefeated they are in the championship game again and I see very few teams that could give them a run...maybe USC but they lost they're qb, maybe texas?

Wait...

Tennessee, South Carolin and FSU will be harder games than Georgia? Really? REALLY?

Florida's schedule is incredibly easy next year, they got the bottom two SEC West teams in Arkansas and Miss State and LSU is at most the third best team next year.

Their Out of Conference schedule is a joke as well - FSU could field a solid squad, but Troy, Florida International and Charleston Southern are the definition of cup cake.

Its a shame Florida won't follow Georgia's lead and schedule some real out of conference games - Georgia may have Tennessee Tech, but they also are playing AT Oklahoma State and hosting Arizona State on top of Georgia Tech.

Yes Georgia just lost their qb and rb to the NFL unless they reload like the old Miami or USC I don't see them being a powerhouse.

They usally have a pretty tough schedule next year should be a cakewalk for them which would hurt them except they will start number one and stay there likely.

True. But like I said this isn't usually the case.

Besides OK and AZ state are sorry Tech maybe.

Ole Miss 09' schedule

sept 5th @ Memphis State
sept 12th USL
sept 19th @Vanderbilt
sept 26th @ South Carolina
oct 3rd ???
oct 10th Alabama
oct 17th UAB
oct 24th Arkansas
oct 31st @ Auburn
nov 7th open
nov 14th Tenn
Nov 21st LSU
nov 28th @MSU

Alabama, LSU, S.C., and Vanderbilt will be the toughest games for us. To tough to call these, could go either way.

Tenn, Auburn and MSU are rebuilding, as is Ark. very winnable games.

Memphis, UAB, and USL should be cakewalks.

Prediction. 9-2 or 10-1 in the regular season. (for some reason, no game is shown on the 3rd of october on the schedule)

You do realize that Georgia has reloaded constantly? Like after 2003 we lost David Greene and David Pollack (after loosing our RB Musa Smith) and in 2004 we won the SEC Championship. Georgia has a former 4 star high school prospect and a great team leader in Joe Cox who is a Redshirt Senior. We also have a young and explosive backfield in Caleb King and Richard Samuels.

They also have a top 5 recruiting class this year.

Georgia will miss Knowshon more than Stafford, but they are also getting their best offensive and defensive lineman that didn't play last year.

This year their out of conference was the Citadel and Hawaii with a decent Miami team before they jelled.

Ok State went to a Bowl Game last year and Arizona State is still a BCS Conference School. Georgia Tech is the second best team in the ACC.

Georgia in 2009...
Sept 5 at Oklahoma State
Sept 12 South Carolina
Sept 19 at Arkansas
Sept 26 Arizona State
Oct 3 LSU
Oct 10 at Tennessee
Oct 17 at Vanderbilt
Oct 31 vs Florida
Nov 7 Tennessee Tech
Nov 14 Auburn
Nov 21 Kentucky
Nov 28 at GA Tech

Solid player and leader Joe Cox at QB, possibly trading off time with Logan Gray, the #2 rated QB in the nation joining us as a freshman, and the return of AJ Green..plus Lord willing, the stacked o and d lines we should have had this season, but then came a boat load of injuries. Stay healthy, stay focused, and we'll be ok.

Logan Gray runs something like a 4.4 40.

I don't want to see a lot of changing QB. IMO changing Shockley for Greene too early in 2002's cocktail party cost us a National Championship.

Use Gray like Florida used Tebow, a wildcat back.

Sanchez is gone good for him. What about Harvin and Spikes from Florida?

Sneaking a look at ESPN in the lunch room, the ticker says Harvin is declaring.

I'm with Pete Carroll, and I don't think Mark Sancrez should declare because he only played 16 games as a starter. But I think Sancrez is entering the draft because other QBs like Brafford are returning, so he has a chance to get picked early. Another year may see his stock pummel, although if he has a Heisman kind of year it will end up helping him.

WOW that was an uncomfortable press conference Pete didn't endorse him leaving or say thank you and then nearly nocked him down when he Left:D

Carroll is an honest guy, he doesn't think it's the right decision and isn't going to sugar coat it

Some reports have Sanchez ahead of Stafford... I just don't get a feel for either guy. Sanchez looks like Leinart's half brother... I think he'll end up having a similar career...

Sanchez ISNT going ahead of Stafford. He will likely be the 2nd QB taken though.

And I dont see the Leinart comparisons in terms of tools, Sanchez has a gun. His only problem is thast I can defiently see him being a wild, Rex Grossman esque type of player if not brought up properly. I would say he defiently should have returned to help his game, albeit he would very likely be drafted a lot later than he will be this year.

I disagree (on draft placement, not on development) The big three will likely come out next year and then he would be way lower.

Hopefully sanchez will not be taken by the Lions who need someone who can start now he can still be drafted high and developed.

I saw a draft with him going Number one also and I was like what?

Lions need LINEMAN. they should trade down and try and get a couple of lineman and definitely not waste the pick on a hopefully good quarterback who would probably not help that much in the first two years anyway. This team is not the Ravens or Falcons, It is the Lions.

Those reports are going to look silly after the combine. Stafford's measurables are ideal and his arm will have ever scout covering up a *****.

Sanchez wont' go to the Lions with the number one pick and I don't like Sanchez being there at 20.

The Lions have several needs, but no need is greater than QB.

Trading down to 3 would be ideal, but I don't think it will happen. The Lions are already at an ideal situation with picks with two first rounders and the first pick in the second round.

Stafford, I think, can help sooner than Sanchez and sooner than any other QB in this draft. He has spent the last 7 years in a Pro-Style offense, he is athletically gifted in size and strength, he has the arm of a Pro QB and he doesn't have any mental or character redflags.

Stafford is the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning, IMO.

If I was drafting for Detroit my first pick would be Stafford, 1-20 would be OT Jason Smith from Baylor and 2-1 on a defensive player, or if Smith's not there a DE like Michael Johnson in the first and the 2-1 on an Offensive Lineman.

I agree but they are too dumb to trade down. They could get by with a good vet backing up the kid they had playing and probably get one of the big 3 coming out next year.
