Can't wait till Moss starts acting up and starts running over meter maids again.

Where did you hear that?

Randy Moss-WR-Patriots Feb. 4 - 1:56 pm et

Randy Moss pulled out of the Pro Bowl due to an injury suffered in the Patriots' Super Bowl loss.

Moss was on the field late in Sunday's game, so we can presume he just didn't want to play in the meaningless all-star game. Moss' place on the AFC roster went to Chad Johnson, who will play in his fifth straight Pro Bowl.

So who starts off Anderson, Roethlisberger, Manning?

Man, all kinds of crazy news over at ESPN's NFL Page. Specter is calling a meeting with Gooddell and things could get ugly over "Spygate". Charles Grant got stabbed in the neck at a nightclub. Spagnuolo is definitely talking to the Skins. Didn't see anything about Brady and Moss pulling out of the Pro Bowl, though.

Spags
Giants Defense-TM- Giants Feb. 4 - 10:38 am et

A league source told the Washington Times that Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo doesn't feel ready to be a head coach yet.

Spagnuolo's remarkable and successful Super Bowl game plan undoubtedly upped his head coaching stock in Redskins owner Dan Snyder's eyes. Spags will interview with Snyder on Tuesday, but it seems unlikely that he'll want the job with defensive coordinator Greg Blache already in place.

Coughlin
Giants Offense-TM-Giants Feb. 4 - 2:46 pm et

Giants GM Jerry Reese says negotiations about a long-term contract for coach Tom Coughlin will "begin soon."

"Who knows? Tom might not want to come back," Reese joked. "He might want to ride off into the sunset." Owner John Mara set Reese straight: "I can't see (Coughlin) playing shuffleboard." Mara virtually guaranteed Coughlin a new deal earlier this winter, before the Giants upset the unbeaten Patriots.

I heard about Grant, heard a Pregnant woman was killed as well :(

That Spygate thing is people making a big deal.

But anyway..

I swear to god, this decade is defined by complacency when it comes to Sports.

I don't think it is.....people(not you) always say its just a sport, why is congress getting involved. The NFL is a multi billion dollar industry, if a scandal is uncovered that can potentially effect one team winning games and making tons of money I think its an issue that needs to be addressed.

Government should stay out of Entertainment, Sports, etc.

I wouldn't say best per say...but they did win the superbowl so.....

I hope NYG v NE will become a big rivalry. I mean really big....

They really won't have much chance to be a rivalry.

In regards to the Giants, they won the Super Bowl, they are the best team in the league in my opinion.

I agree.

It also makes me feel better as an Eagles Fan. I don't think were that far off from them. Played them tough at the end of the year, and the first time we had no Westbrook.

Man hell no...

Congress was created to help and debate the issues both domestically and internationally that matter from a social and political standpoint. Not this BS

We gonna make a big deal out of some intern or whatever videoing a walk through practice of a football team but we gonna ignore Darfur or not lobby to send aid or help sort out the inner city neighbourhoods.

Its beyond retarted. Its hardly the steriod issue. I mean filming the game is hardly the same as enchancing your abilites athletically. Its some BS and its a moot point. No one gives a **** and the cold hard fact of the matter is, if it was anyone else's team the same fans would be saying likewise. We stupid as hell for making this a big deal.

Just watching the match again, if Brady had connected on that 3rd down in 4th with the 71 yard bomb to Moss I think my heart would have exploded, it was wild how close those passes were.

The toughest games this year for the Patriots were Colts, Baltimore, Eagles, and Giants.

Off another board

You do realize that NFL football is a business, they deliver a product that citizens pay for... don't you? The Patriots and Goodell may have tampered with a product and the citizens are not getting the product that they pay for. That is why they have jurisdiction over this and can subpoena people.

This is in regards to the Anti Trust Exemption that may be revoked as a result:

The NFL is essentially a regulated monopoly on Football in the US. In other businesses, new companies spring up all the time to attempt to grab market share and profits away from established competitors; in football the League has absolute control over who gets new franchises, due to an exemption from anti-trust laws granted by the government.

If the NFL were found to be giving certain teams advantages or otherwise unfairly influencing games, this exemption can be revoked.

The toughest games this year for the Patriots were Colts, Baltimore, Eagles, and Giants.

We blew it with all those Int's towards the end, otherwise they played them really well.

Off another board

I love the fact that instead of thinking about it yourself you took a quote from another board which is uses little logic. So ****ing what if the NFL is a bilion dollar business, does that still mean congress needs to step in over something? There's unethical practices in businesses all the time some minor, some major. The Government doesnt always step in and this is not a business move either.

How did Goddell tamper with the "product"? He didnt tell the Pats to film the Jets.

Use your head though Donnie: Are the only 2 cases (one which is a rumour at this point btw) gonna impact or further impact the defciet of the economy? No. If we inflict penalities on New England, is our economy saved enough to become a surplus? No.Is it gonna allow the Patroits to become a monopoly from a business standpoint and "Takeover and buy out" smaller ball clubs? No, its football everyone makes money.
2 cases of a team videotaping is hardly worth the US Congress stepping. Do you know how bloddy ******ed it sounds. Congress didnt have to step in the Tim Donoghay situation. One can even debate if they needed to in the steriod allegations in Baseball but with that what we have was a situation where it was directly effecting the athletic evolution of the game. Videotapping a practice is hardly the same.
All you need is the NFL to penalise the Patroits and that is the end of the story. You dont need some congressmen trying to make a name for himself somehow when everything else he has done never got attention.

Yeah its unethical cheating but it doesnt need the bloddy congress, the same idiots that botch shyt like Iraq. **** em....
