2009 MLB Thread, part 2

In California, Kate Hudson barely registers an average.

The Mets will be competitive again. They had a perfect storm of injuries this year. That type of rotten luck doesn't happen all the time. This series showed how shallow the Phillies' pitching is.

Happ should have been in the rotation....that was a bad call by charlie. They'll add another starter in the off-season probably giving them:

Lee
Hamels
Happ
Blanton
FA.

I like that rotation.

By that same token, you can't say the AL East is so much better just because they have the Yankees. One team doesn't make them a great division.

Hence proving my point that the A.L blew all kinds of suckage this year other than the Yanks/Angels. You were better than the Red Sox... good for you and your team. Be happy with that... and I already got your reply so don't bother with, "I am not a Yankee fan and thankfully not a Met fan either". We get it. We know... (Goes to New York to film PinTights: Lubed Balls and Giant-Rods... all exclusive backdoor pass to A-Rod, Jeter, Girdardi threesome after game 6.)

I'll take an AL team to beat an NL team any day of the week. Teams like the Royals and Blue Jays are contenders in the NL. Can't say the reverse for the Pirates and the Reds.

Maybe the Jays would be contenders but the Royals lost 97 games. Going to the NL wouldn't make them contenders. They played in a weak division, too.

Yankees finally managed to buy a ring. Took 'em a decade of trying. LOL. $400+ million for 3 free agents, wow.

I had to race home to catch the last 3 outs.

Congrats to the Yankees.

Great season Phils. No shame in how this team played and your city loves you for it. We'll be back here again next year. Congrats to the Yankees and their fans.

So I slept through most of this game, only to wake up in the top of the 9th. I love being sick:csad:

Anywho, congrats to the Yanks, you won your 200th World Series. A-Rod has a ring....

ALEX RODRIGUEZ HAS A ****ING WORLD SERIES RING IN HIS CAREER. Hell froze over, clearly.

I'm gonna make the '10 thread, so keep chatting this up while I prepare our new sancutary for the next calander year.

Don't make it yet. Let this one get polluted with Yankee posts first.

You are not a Yankee until you have won multiple world series.

Yankees win, Yankees win! OH MY GOD YANKEES WIN! WORLD CHAMPS!

^I called this as soon as Girardi announced AJ as his game 5 starter. I knew it would be a wasted effort to use him, didn't think he would be that bad though, and tonight Pettitte will get lit like a Christmas tree. Tonight is batting practice for the Phillies.

Girardi just handed the WS over to the Phillies on a silver platter and Phillies will take full advantage of his moronic move.

Uh-huh...sure he will. :hehe:

YEAH!!!!!!!!!! #27, baby!!!!!

Okay now on to football. Oh wait...the Giants are kinda unmotivated. :(

**** with any of my shows next season Yankees I will be an enemy grrrr
