watching that game was like watching tortoises bang....but boring and successful seems to work for them

The Saints definitely showed that they were more than ready to play the Cardinals in every way. Offense, defense, special teams, you name it. I feel bad for Minnesota or Dallas having to go into New Orleans next week, especially if New Orleans will want revenge against Dallas.

The Ravens gave this game away. Penalties, turnovers, and an absolute inability to find a way through that Colts defense. The Colts looked good, but they can't be looking forward to next week's game no matter who's coming to Indy.

Well, at least I finally got a pick right. I'm on the comeback trail, I can feel it!

The Cowboys game is going to be insaAaAaAne man I can't wait.

It was fun to see the Ravens beat the Ravens.

It's like I said. When you have an ass for a coach who encourages his team to play like a bunch of asses, sooner or later, it's going to come back around to bite you in the ass.

how is Harbaugh an ass??

Marvin Lewis wins Coach of the Year, Sean Payton comes in second

how is Harbaugh an ass??

I know right. He's a sweet kid. I think he's perfect for the Ravens, he just needs some weapons. His ass... however, was handed to him yesterday.

Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner isn't the only high-profile player from a team that lost on Saturday to consider walking away from the game.

Ravens safety Ed Reed also has indicated that he may not be back in 2010.

"I've been thinking about it, and it kind of hit me on the sidelines," Reed said following the 20-3 loss to Indianapolis. "It's going to be a long offseason. It hurts. I am just thinking about it."

Reed, 31, has played only eight years. But he has had a variety of injuries, and he might decide -- like Robert Smith of the Vikings nearly a decade ago -- to walk away, while he can still walk.

"I'm 50-50," Reed said. "I am going to re-evaluate things and see how it goes in the next couple of days."

Of course, a deflating loss also might be a factor, especially after two interceptions and long returns by Reed only minutes apart were for naught, first after the ball was punched out by Colts receiver Pierre Garcon and then after an interference penalty brought everything back.

Reed a HOF'er...I think so.

Beer is cooling. Pizza was pre-ordered last night and will arrive at 11:55 CST. Demarcus Ware jersey is being hung and febreezed. Playoff beard is itching.

I think I'm ready for the game. Let's go Cowboys.

BEARS DE GAINES ADAMS PASSES AWAY AT 26

Talk about random. :csad: I remember hearing some good things when Tampa drafted him a few years ago, but he never panned out.

the outcome of the Vikings season isn't going to matter because it's only a matter of time before we go with the "will he or won't he?" nonsense again with you know who. A win today will only delay the nonsense for a week.

So what happens to the players on the Super Bowl teams selected to play in the worthless piece of crap called the Pro Bowl?

I wouldn't let them play....I'm amazed at the stupidity of playing the Pro Bowl BEFORE the Super Bowl...

It's because Goddell was probably drunk when he thought that was a good idea.

lets go Farve

All he's going to do in the offseason is retire, unretire six weeks later, retire again and then unretire again a day before the season starts, only to retire during the Vikings bye week next season and then unretire the next day.

When Brett Favre announces a teery, emotional retirement again the media will say "he'll be back during training camp."

The only way I believe that Brett will retire for good is if the 2010 season kicks off and he's not playing week one.
