As a non-partial observer of the game, I didn't think the 2 calls in OT were bad calls. PI is always a judgment call and the ball landed close enough to the guy getting tackled where everyone on that field and at home knew it was coming.

I just don't see either of them. I have no stake in this game either and I see two terrible calls.

But you can pick and choose any point in a game to say that's when bad refs gave a team a game. The point is, if you play better, you won't be in that position.

Thats like saying "If you weren't walking home, you wouldn't have been raped."

I'm seriously toying with rooting for the Colts. Peyton Manning's closet vs. Drew Brees' mole...hmmmmmmm

Nope. trying to pin one play/call for a loss is like saying "global warming never would have happened without the cotton gin."

Really bad officiating is something I've seen. That's when every call goes for one team. *coughLakers*

I'm so filled with rage right now, I can think of no other option. I'm kicking the dog. Repeatedly. (But rather softly as he is aging)

I can't decide if I should be ticked at Favre for that turnover or grateful that Sge Rosenfels wasn't the starting quarterback for an 8-8 campaign.

Despite all your rage, you're still just a rat in a cage.

Better luck next year, Brett. It'll be back to all about you in a while.

Tomorrow we'll see clips of his teary post-game conference, then in a few weeks we'll see his equally teary retirement press conference.

I'm gonna cheer for the Saints since Drew Brees was robbed of the MVP this year.

so i guess the so called only 2 undefeated teams are still heading to the SB

Not really. In this case it was a sudden death situation and the bad call put them in position to score and end the game. Therefore that one can be pin pointed.

If they had won it this whole thing from now until the game would have been the Favre Show.

Now it'll just be the Manning Show. :o

If someone watches nothing but ESPN for the next 2 weeks, then they deserve that hell

Suck it farve!!!! Bwwwwhahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhaha!!!!!!

Tomorrow morning, I will begin our Super Bowl thread...complete with a "Who wins? poll. See you then.

Good for the Saints. Benson should have brought his umbrella.

I feel like a grumpy old man just reading this thread with all the cynicism and hate being spewed today. Damn.

Well that's a wrap on the season... of course the next two weeks will be on everything but the game for the majority of the country. Should at least be a decent ball game. Two worthy opponents. Thank God we won't get the media deep throating Farve the next couple of weeks.
