Cant wait till Twitter ruins a career of a player

It kinda has, NBA player Peja Stoyakavich got outed for cheating on his wife when the girl he hired as an escort turned out to be a porn star. She then tweeted that she had sex with peja

I was very impressed with Brees and the Defense yesterday.

really?? how many QBs can be down that much, take the field, keep the chains moving, the team in it, and win the game??

its a short list

Seymour should have probably keep his mouth shut
I hope a reporter asked him about it after the game. Idiot.
It's basically just a 1 year deal worth the average of the top 5 players at that position.
I'm usually all for anything the NFL does in handling the Union, but I don't really like the franchise tag. After a player's deal is up, sign him long-term or risk him walking. Don't come with a big pile of money, a couple of poison pills that effectively keep anyone from signing him and say "Tough luck. You're not going anywhere." It should require the player's acquiescence.

If I remember correctly Brees hurt his shoulder in the last game of the year and had major shoulder surgery to repair it. Not to mention they had Rivers waiting so.... I'm guessing some teams would have some reservations about trading for the guy.
Some teams even had reservation after having Brees complete an extensive 6-hour private workout.

SABAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MUELLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :argh:

ok show of hands here, who wants to punch Russell in the mouth
The natural jokes have been made, but it's clear Tubby doesn't get it. Even if he believed he wasn't a large* part of the problem (which, to me, would be inexplicable), he should still take it that way. Of course that would require a show of leadership and a cessation of the nonchalance that he's usually associated with. Yet, for some reason, the Raiders keep publicly endorsing this behemoth as their future. It no make the sense. I'm still stunned they benched him.

* Figuratively and literally. :hehe:

I was mistaken last week. Brett Favre is not King *****e. Larry Johnson's ignorant ass is King *****e. Unfortunately, the slothful bum won't merit enough mention in this thread for me to use the tag with any regularity. What a baby. Ass.

Here's hoping The Hammer gets involved. Maybe it'll distract him from the London fantasy.

regardless of the loss, AP still flattened William Gay....after getting trucked like that, you should go sit on the bench for a few and collect your thoughts

Larry Johnson-RB-Chiefs Oct. 26 - 2:49 pm et

According to Profootballtalk.com, Larry Johnson called reporters "f-ggots" in the Chiefs' locker room Monday.

L.J. also used a homophobic word on his Twitter page late Sunday. Chiefs beat writer Kent Babb mentioned the latest episode on his own Twitter page Monday morning, but left out the term "f-ggot." It will be interesting to hear what coach Todd Haley has to say at his press conference this afternoon.

That's totally like a Ryan Leaf moment.

LJ is just an awful guy, but I would be more than happy to have the awful human being on our squad, do the right thing Kansas

Remember the time he said he didnt want to play for a white coach.

Coach Mike Singletary announced Monday that Alex Smith will take over as the 49ers' starting quarterback beginning in Week 8.

It's a deserved promotion after Smith nearly engineered a comeback win after replacing Shaun Hill at halftime of Sunday's game at Houston. Smith's superior arm strength adds a new dimension to San Francisco's offense, which ideally would use the run to set up vertical passes. Four of the Niners' next four games are against potent pass defenses (Week 8 @ IND, Week 10 vs. CHI, Week 11 @ GB), however. Consider Smith a low-end QB2 pickup.

Maybe all that time on the bench really helped develop Alex Smith into a better QB.

He apologized. He said he didn't eat before the game. Was it to spite the Raiders, no. But he should have eaten a powerbar or something.

I'm watching the Vikings/Steelers highlights and I'm confused why the Vikings threw the ball on the 1yd line when you have the best running back in the league.
