There's a discernible interest, but it strikes me more as novelty. I don't see it as enough to justify jobbing teams out of home games. Toss some preseason games over there, but multiple regular season games and Super Bowl rumblings? Give me a break.

Define "jobbing"? Team management can't really complain - after all, I am pretty sure they make more money selling out the 90,000 seat stadium than they do selling out the smaller stadiums. Teams aren't losing money. Now does it hurt the player trying to go from American to Europe to America? Absolutely. The Bye Week should always be after a European game.

Those limeys would throw a ***** fit if we forced the MLS into their football champions series or if Premier League games were played over here....the NFL has just found a way to get more money in the purse and calling it a goodwill gesture

Those limeys that sold out Wembley stadium almost as soon as tickets went on sale? Yes, they clearly have no interest.

By going up against competition that 32 other NFL teams passed on...

Absolutely.

I mean college kids get noticed playing against inferior competition. AFL players get drafted. Canadian Football players get drafted. NFL Europe had several successes.

why should our fans/stadium vendors etc. have to sacrifice a home game just so the NFL can get a little richer?? I understand it's a business decision but I will never be OK with regular season games being played outside the US

Sacrifice? Please. Sacrifice implies that you are losing something you own, that isn't the case here. They aren't sacrificing anything. Especially stadium vendors - NFL teams generate more revenue for them than any other function, for them to complain because a single game is taken away seems a bit silly. The Team doesn't own the vendor anything.

I see them missing the playoffs again. I like Atlanta to win the divison.

Thomas Jones will not be a Jet in 2009.

There is no way the Jets can afford to give both Leon Washington and Thomas Jones both new contracts. Leon Washington is wanting Jones-Drew type money and Thomas Jones wants a raise on his million dollar 2009 salary. Especially when factoring in the drafting of Shonn Greene, I have a better chance of making the starting day roster than Thomas Jones does.

I'd agree...with the addition of Tony Gonzales, he'll spread the short field for them....I know he's not the Tony of old but he can compliment that offense

I agree that Atlanta would be my favorite in the NFC South.

I like Tampa though. Their offense is exciting loaded with tools. Byron Leftwich should be QB enough to keep Freeman on the sideliens as well.

Jim Bates is a brilliant defensive mind and I think there is enough talent there to work his system. I like Gaines Adams to have a big year next year.

Tampa could be a wide card player.

I like Thomas Jones, but he's on the wrong side of 30 and RB generally don't last very long, so Jets will be smart to try to get younger in this position.

I heard it's 1.5 mil, but Taylor did turn down 8 mil to play another year with 'Skins, so he could return to Miami, so props to him.
