The funny thing is, the Heat could go on to win this game and people will only focus on Lebron missing that final shot. I give him props for taking it, can't ask for more than that....other than making it I guess.

I do agree, at least he didn't wimp out. :yay:

LeBron has been to the free throw line 22 times tonight. 16 of his 30 points have been free throws. I'm not going to say that it is some huge conspiracy theory to fix the games but some of these fouls, they've barely touched him. I think it is like refs in the NFL with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. They are just far more likely to call fouls against their golden boy that they would let go against a different player.

The sports media would never have the balls to call the refs on it (maybe Dan Patrick) but someone needs to. Let the players play the game and quit coddling LeBron.

Stephen A Smith called them out on the technicals in game one on Sports Center the next day.

You could sub any NBA superstar and it would be the same argument.

Funny thing is Lebron and Wade have like a total of maybe 10 fouls combined for the entire playoffs. That says a lot for guys who play really aggressive defense the way they do.

The LeBron (and Kobe) Rules make the infamous Jordan Rules seem pretty tame in comparison.

Everyone called out the technicals. They were impossible to ignore, no matter how apologetic the sports media is. A blind guy could see that those refs got too damn T-happy. But just these shooting fouls....every time there is the tiniest bit of contact against James, that whistle is being blown. Let them play the damn game.

Rondo gets nailed in the head and no foul call. Phantom stuff all night long in favor of LeBron.

Rondo was smacked right in the face. No call.

Where amazing happens.

That is a ****ing foul on Wade...****ing refs...Lebron finding ways to choke still

Eh, I dunno about that. Wade just belted Rondo in the head during his shot and there was no whistle. The last LeBron foul the ball was out of his hand for at least a second before the contact occurred and it still drew a whistle. But yeah, you're right, it is true with most stars. It is just really egregious tonight. At least 8 of those 16 foul points shouldn't be on the scoreboard.

I'm soaking up the hate right now. I really love you guys. Yes, the Heat are the only team in the NBA that get favorable calls at home.

How are you gonna say it's worse then what Jordan got when Jordan literally started it. Jordan in his day could push off on anyone and the refs wouldn't bat an eye. 98 Finals against the Jazz anyone?

I'm sure that wasn't a foul on Wade either. What a flopper.

This league and its garbage refs...

Still...Miami is not winning a title this year. Dont care if they win this series, they cant touch the Spurs

I remember Jordan in the late 80's getting his ass hammered by the Pistons and they mostly got away with it. Today, if you hammered Kobe or LeBron like that, your entire team would be thrown out of the game for flagrant fouls.

That should be game and that was definitely an offensive foul. Refs handed the Heat this game.

In this round Paul Pierce has fouled out. In the Knicks series, Carmelo, Chandler and Stat stayed in foul trouble. Again, Wade and Bron have like 10 fouls combined in the playoffs. All superstars are not created the same.

The hell you talking about?

favorable calls? That was a straight hack...**** out of here with ****

No one said that, but being as we are discussing this particular game, it is the one relevant to the conversation.

It was a great game on both sides. It is just sad to see the refs play as big of a role as they did.
