As much as I hate to admit this, I'm rooting for Miami to win. OKC will probably steam roll through Boston, plus I want to see Lebron get embarassed by Durant. Go Heat! :)

The myth of the Thunder being unbeatable is just as flawed as the myth of the Spurs being unbeatable. Either Eastern team could win. The Thunder are not without their gaps.

Miami needs to win the NBA Finals this year, so that Spoelstra can take credit for a championship contender and there would not be a need for Pat Riley to come down form his skybox.

Then again, they were supposed to win last year. Many people predicted it. Before he left for NFL.COM, Jason Smith predicted a Miami sweep. He then predicted Miami in 5 games when the series was tied at 1-1 and then Miami leading 2-1.

I think that if Boston makes it, they will just get destroyed, OKC won't play a slow physical game like Boston prefers. Miami could beat the Thunder without a doubt though.

The ESPN studio team has anointed the Miami Heat the Eastern Conference Champions. Well, that makes it official, Boston will win on Saturday. :hehe:
You mean Magic Johnson, his opinion on who will win on Saturday. I know we love to listen to what they say all the time 'cause they're ESPN, but it should go in one ear and out the other. Stephen A Smith completely trashed the Heat after their Game 6 loss, and now he's eating his words with their effort tonight. *cough* Great defense *cough* Getting back in transition *cough* Not just LBJ's monster game. ;)

Edit: And I just remembered now with ESPN saying the Celtics had the hearts of champions and such after Game 6, and now they were trashing them for playing like crap and old, IN Boston. It's like, ESPN & critics should be the last thing we should be talking about. Whatever happens, happens. Seriously. Strangely enough, LeBron said something like that when he was asked about the media situation about him.

The truth is Boston is a jump shooting team. If KG posted up more, I'd like their chances a lot more but the truth is you have to beg the guy to go down low and Bass has just completely disappeared for the Celtics. They have no one down low at all.

I think Miami has a better chance of beating OKC, especially if James plays like he did tonight................but I don't see it happening.

you know whats great...Either Lebron loses game 7 or Boston chokes a 3-2 lead

Its perfect.

Honestly, I think Boston blew their chance, and I think the fans knew it and the players will try but they are probably shot.

They need to go like 10-15 from 3 point land to have a chance I think, unless they let Lebron shoot 90% field goals

Boston fans disgusted me last night. One fan intentionally threw the out-of-bounds ball at Wade's head and another spilled their drink on LeBron. Jeez, talk about pettiness. I hope The Heat eliminate The Celtics Saturday night, and Miami fans act like Boston fans when the game is over and they're leaving crushed.

No he didn't.

I see the nets covering the tunnels are working good. Soon we'll be sober and behind NHL plexiglass at every sporting event.

Yeah, like Darth said, he didn't. Dwyane looked and walked away and the fan had just threw it back in a hurry. He looked embarassed but Wade didn't care.

The only one that should disgust you is the one that showered LeBron with beer (or whatever) as he just made it into the tunnel. Nice. Gives him more motivation.

I only saw a quick glimpse when I flipped on the channel. If thats the case, then ESPN definitely sold it.

Handled that with class. Smiled and keep it moving. If that had been World Peace ake Artest, there would have Brawl ECF Edition.

Should've been a brawl. We pay tickets to watch, root, cheer, or boo. Not toss drinks when our team loses.

I didn't blame Artest for that brawl. Not the beginning, which the refs let get completely out of hand before the beer was ever thrown, and certainly not what happened after. If Lebron decided to try and charge up there, more power to him.

Fans=/=Players on team

Well if he did would of been a couple game suspension.

Call me odd but I knew the moment that OKC beat the Spurs, I knew that Miami would beat Boston(yeah I'm calling it now). I've also said that I think OKC would beat Miami in 5 games, as well as most sports writers, but I'm changing my mind again. I can see Miami beating these guys in 6. Miami's front line is weak, they have bad coaching but I just don't see them not winning it this year, and this is coming from a dude that wants Lebron to lose everything. I still don't have confidence in Westbrook and I think sooner or later it's going to come back and bite OKC. Why not in the Finals?

I'm not gonna lie, I have nothing against Lebron, I actually defend him at times and bash him at others when it's appropriate. But I'm pulling for the C's for one reason only, KG.

I used to get into arguments, and still do on occasion, because I thought KG was the 2nd best player overall throughout the 2000's. I thought he was better than Duncan but saddled with a much worse team, and I think he's better than Duncan right now, easily.

I remember an interview he did, I think, with John Thompson. And he started crying because he couldn't figure out how to get Minnesota to win. Just true, honest passion, man. He's the last of a dying breed, those players who brought it every night and left it all out on the court, just trying to win. Of course he finally got that ring, but I'd like to see him get one more crack at it before being broken up.

I don't understand how they keep saying the Celtics are old. Ray Allen and KG are the only ones that are 35+. Pierce is 33 and has always played in slow motion but that's just his game. Part of me is rooting for the Celtics but most of me is rooting for Miami.

I'm going with the Celtics tonight because Miami needs something more from guys not named James or Wade. LeBron will have his 35, Wade his 20-25 but where's the rest of the scoring coming from? I have no faith in the Heat bench to contribute more in order to pull this off.
