2011/2012 NBA Thread: Where Weather Happens

Thunder nearly gave up a last minute score by the Spurs because they did not wake up to see if anybody was headed back up court.

They came out almost like the series was already over, like the Spurs were gonna just lay down. They're young, and in this position for the first time, so it's kind of understandable. And luckily for them, the lead isn't too big. If they come out focused, they can still get this done.

Pop went off on poor Tiago. Who is he going to yell at for that easy Ibaka dunk now?

And here comes the Thunder comeback. Love how Popvich gets angry, how an head coach suppose to be when his team is messing up. Heat need a guy like that, not afraid to get in James and Wade and other players faces.

Except he's yelling at Tiago Splitter. Not Tim Duncan.

This OKC crowd has been on their feet for as long as I can remember. Great stuff.

Oh God, OKC might take Miami's spot as the Kings of Flops.

I swear, I don't know how the Thunder get away with playing how they do. Literally, almost every game they play, especially this postseason, they have at least one horrendous quarter, if not a whole half. And just as sure as the Sun rises, they come back with one solid quarter. Just one lol, and they get right back in the game, regardless of who they're playing. It's crazy....

The Spurs are getting rolled by the ref. I wasn't going to say anything after that first and one by Ginobli was disallowed but had to after that "charge" was called on him. The Spurs have had six legit points taken away from them.

I love Gregg Popovich. Who remembers the controversy when he as GM fired Bob Hill and took over? San Antonians were calling for his head. Two years later, he won a championship. I hope for his sake at least, the Spurs can force game seven. Not looking like they will though. This Thunder team just has too much energy.

From unbeatable to losing 4 straight? What a difference a week makes...

Well Gregg Popovich, remember....no matter how angry you are right now, the city of Seattle is ten times more furious. :o

But good for OKC. To think that this team was done a week ago. :funny:

Well to be fair Spurs really did not play no teams that was on their level until they played OKC this round.

Tell me about it, this could of been the Supersonics going back to the finals.

What a difference a week makes. I would've bet a lot of money that the Spurs would've sweep, or at least would've won in 5 or 6.

Turns out Robinson stormed into his office and called for Hill's head

Crap, really thought the Spurs were winning it all this year.

Now I hope OKC beats whichever overhyped team comes from the east.

I think OKC winning the title this year. Boston and Miami will make it a series but I do not think neither team can beat the Thunder. They deserved this series victory coming back from 0-2 to win 4 straight games.

I wouldn't quite say the Celtics are overhyped.

I think we've all been waiting for their arthritis to start acting up for months now. :o

Damn, the referees have really screwed the Spurs in the 2nd half

The NBA is not rigged at all
